College Football Playoff Prediction Series: Week Five
There was little change among the playoff proposals from last week. The largest change will actually be the fact that our poll no longer lists the size of each playoff but rather provides the name of the source. While the number of votes will likely decrease, the poll as a whole will be more representative.
Last Week
The highest ranked team to suffer a loss was the previous No. 12, Oklahoma, losing to the new No. 12, Miami. Miami thus replaced Oklahoma in the “Add Two” playoff which has teams playing into the final BCS berths instead of being selected by bowls and polls. Miami also replaced Oklahoma in the 16-team models.
LSU dropped Florida out of the top two, riding a first place vote in almost every computer poll. Also, USC and Iowa replaced TCU, who fell from No. 8 to No. 11, in the two Eight-Team playoffs.
The Poll
If you have proposals that you'd like displayed next week, then link to them or describe them in the comments section. Up to two may be added for each new iteration of this series.
Each week, there will also be a poll for which proposals make the most sense. The playoff with the least amount of support may not appear next week, at my discretion.
Enjoy the playoffs below, given in an order considering last week's vote.
