Diego Maradona, Juan Sebastian Veron Argue During Pope Francis' Match for Peace
Argentina legend Diego Maradona was in typically fiery form on Wednesday, as he clashed with compatriot Juan Sebastian Veron during Pope Francis' Match for Peace and Solidarity in Rome.
As the star-studded teams left the pitch at half-time at the Stadio Olimpico, Maradona could be seen exchanging words with Veron, and he eventually got so heated he had to be led away from the former Manchester United star, per CrackDeportivo (via La12tuittera):

According to Calciomercato, Maradona, 55, called Veron a "son of a b---h" during an exchange that seemed somewhat undignified, especially given the occasion.
Per the Mirror's Jacob Murtagh, Maradona and Veron clashed earlier in the match, the 41-year-old tripping his former national-team manager, although their initial exchanges appeared good-natured.
However, the 1986 World Cup winner looked visibly angry as he confronted Veron while heading to the sidelines.
According to former Lazio star Stefano Mauri, who was playing on Maradona's side, the argument did not continue into the dressing room, per Murtagh: "It was fine in the locker room. They were laughing together during the break."
The match ended 4-3 to Veron's White Team, which also included Edgar Davids, Eric Abidal, Hernan Crespo and Ronaldinho.
Maradona linked up with Roma legend Francesco Totti for the Blue Team's second goal, but he could not propel his side to victory in the Italian capital.
