WWE Raw: Potential Spoilers, Rumors, News and Preview for Sept. 26
The controversy that upended the Clash of Champions pay-per-view on Sunday will spill over onto WWE Raw.
WWE has to be hoping that's enough to avoid a further drop in ratings. Monday Night Football and the first presidential debate are set to provide hearty competition.
Raw will counter with the story of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon seemingly conspiring to keep Seth Rollins away from the WWE Universal Championship. Kevin Owens retained the title at the PPV thanks to interference, an unconscious referee not seeing a pinfall and general chaos.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Roman Reigns has a United States Championship victory to celebrate, the cruiserweights are sure to have their claws unsheathed and Charlotte can gloat about retaining her title against two game opponents.
Cincinnati will host it all as WWE builds off what unfolded at the latest PPV.
Backstage reports offered a peek at who may show up. The Raw preview on WWE.com hinted at where the red brand's stories could head next.
It all begins at 8 p.m. ET when Monday's Raw hits the airwaves on the USA Network.
News, Potential Spoilers
Should Rollins step up to Owens, he may stick to coming after him verbally.
According to F4WOnline (h/t Marc Middleton of Wrestling Inc), Rollins left his match against Owens injured, possibly thanks to a top-rope gutbuster spot. Reportedly, Rollins had trouble breathing backstage, leading to speculation that he may have hurt a rib.
The Architect did clutch his side as he excited the ring on Sunday night, but that could easily have been him selling the effects of the match.
Raw's roster may grow deeper on Monday with two injured stars poised to make their way back to action.
Last week, Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet reported: "It's only a matter of time before Luke Harper returns to the ring... sources with direct knowledge tell us he's officially been cleared for action."
Harper has been out since March after tearing his ACL in a dark match. He isn't signed to a specific brand, as his injury status kept him from being eligible for July's draft. The same goes for Emma, who was recovering from back surgery during the summer.
Emma noted last Monday that she has been cleared for weeks:
Her arrival on the red brand may be around the corner. On PWInsider.com, Mike Johnson reported that Emma was backstage during the PPV. Paige, whose suspension for violating the company wellness policy ended recently, was not.
Raw Streaks
Strangely enough, WWE has suddenly gotten behind Bo Dallas.
Long a forgotten part of the roster, Dallas is suddenly tearing through lesser foes. The increasingly aggressive poet knocked off enhancement talent Gary Graham last Monday.
That marked his third consecutive victory on Raw, per the Internet Wrestling Database.
Dallas' old stablemate has to be mighty jealous. Curtis Axel can't even get on TV at this point.
As seen on his IWD profile, Axel hasn't wrestled on WWE's marquee show since July 25. He has now missed eight episodes of Raw in a row.
When the announce team dubbed him "Mr. Irrelevant" following the draft, it wasn't kidding.
Clash of Champions Fallout
The best-of-seven series between Cesaro and Sheamus isn't over, even after the two warriors beat each other senseless in the deciding match at Clash of Champions.
The seventh bout ended in a no-contest, with The Celtic Warrior barely able to stand and Cesaro's arm hanging limp at his side. The Swiss strongman may have been legitimately injured after crashing onto his head during the bout.
If Monday's Raw doesn't feature a rematch, it should at least address the situation and announce what's next for the rivals.
The issues between cruiserweight champion T.J. Perkins and Brian Kendrick aren't over, either.
Perkins outlasted the veteran in their title match on the PPV. Kendrick, though, attacked his foe after the bell, headbutting him to the canvas. That spells escalating animosity ahead, with the two cruiserweights sure to collide once more.
The Raw preview on WWE.com hinted at Perkins getting some payback on Raw: "He just might have that opportunity for retribution when Monday night's hottest show goes live in Cincinnati."
Reigns will stride into the Queen City with a new prize in hand.
After defeating Rusev for the U.S. title, it's likely The Big Dog will have to square off against the powerhouse once more. But with five weeks until the Hell in a Cell PPV on Oct. 30, WWE may have Reigns move on to a new foe before then.
Monday's Raw should provide an indication of where the new champion is headed.
The central narrative of the show promises to be about its authority figures. Triple H has yet to explain why he attacked Rollins and cleared the path for Owens to win the Universal Championship. And it's not clear how much McMahon knew about that conspiracy against The Architect.
After her part in Sunday's main event, she giddily stepped into a limo with her husband. Of that moment, the Raw preview stated: "Rollins must be more suspicious than ever and will come to Raw with more questions that need answering."
The flustered, cheated challenger has plenty to gripe about on Monday's Raw.
As he collides with those in control of the show, though, WWE has to remember not to slide the spotlight too far away from Owens. Not focusing on the champion enough will undercut his reign.
