Other Clash of Champions Thoughts
As the first Raw brand event, Clash of Champions will give us a good idea of what most Raw PPVs will look like until the next draft takes place.
With the addition of the Cruiserweight Championship to the lineup, Raw has five titles of its own. Seeing as WWE only had five total championships up until a few weeks ago, Raw has enough gold for both rosters.
T.J. Perkins and Brian Kendrick will represent the division, and if their match is anything like what we saw from both men during the Cruiserweight Classic, it will likely steal the show.
However, when it comes to belts finding new homes, it feels like the tag titles have the biggest chance of changing hands.
The New Day have had a nice long reign, but it's time for someone new to have a run with the gold. Anderson and Gallows might not be as funny on the mic, but they have the wrestling ability to carry the division as its leaders.
As far as the main event is concerned, we should expect nothing less than a five-star match. Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens are two of the best the company has to offer, and putting them in the same ring is guaranteed to be incredible.
Based on the card we have for Sunday, Clash of Champions could outshine Backlash in the battle of the brand-exclusive PPVs.
