WWE Clash of Champions 2016: Match Results Guaranteed to Disappoint Fans
Sunday night, World Wrestling Entertainment's Raw presents its first brand-exclusive pay-per-view event, and as usual, there will be a handful of match results that will ignite negativity among the diehard internet fanbase.
Because, duh.
Some will be justified. There is a United States Championship match in particular that will infuriate the vocal majority and add further fuel to the fire that awaits one of wrestling's biggest stars every time he walks into an arena.

Others will involve personal favorites of the internet audience who drop key matches in their progression.
What are those results, and how will they possibly impact the overall reputation of the show in its aftermath?
Roman Reigns defeats Rusev for the United States Championship
The most obvious of the match results guaranteed is a Roman Reigns win over Rusev for the United States Championship.
Reigns is the most scrutinized professional wrestler on the planet, a Superstar whose consistency in big-match situations is undermined by blatant dislike for his character.
Knocking him out of the WWE Championship picture and into the midcard in hopes of curbing the disdain the audience feels for him does not work if his victories there come at the expense of performers perceived to be superior to him at their jobs.
Rusev is one such performer, an old-school foreign fanatic whose entertainment value is undeniable and whose ring game has exceeded all expectations set early in his career. The lack of credible heels on the roster accentuates the importance of The Bulgarian Brute to Raw's overall health.
Sacrificing him to Reigns, an established main event star, does nothing to better the brand's situation. Thus, the angry keyboard warriors of the fabled Internet Wrestling Community would be justified in their complaints regarding the outcome.
Charlotte Retains the WWE Women's Championship
With two beloved babyfaces in Bayley and Sasha Banks challenging for the WWE Women's Championship Sunday night, the idea of Charlotte emerging from Clash of Champions with her title intact is the least desirable outcome imaginable, especially given the fact that she has been at the top of the women's division for the last year.
It was September 2015's Night of Champions pay-per-view where the second-generation star first captured the Divas Championship. Outside of a three-week window where Banks held the title prior to SummerSlam, Charlotte has been the consistent figurehead of the division.
Freshening things up by switching the title to a character fans legitimately adore would be preferable. Anything to the contrary would spark disappointment and questions about the company's commitment to women's wrestling beyond the Superstar with "Flair" in her pedigree.
Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson Win Gold
Gallows and Anderson have been made such a joke of over the last two months, portrayed as comedic characters in unfunny pretaped vignettes.
To suggest that was the best way to use two bruising badasses straight out of New Japan Pro Wrestling and the famed Bullet Club is asinine, at best.
Sunday night, if they dethrone The New Day and end that team's year-plus reign as tag team champions, it will be for no other reason than to justify the investment made in Anderson and Gallows. They are not the red-hot team they should be. They are not the destructive and intimidating force they were meant to be.
A title win would ring hollow and leave many to wonder how long it will be until they drop the gold to Enzo Amore and Big Cass.
