WWE Raw: Potential Spoilers, Rumors, News and Preview for Sept. 12
Clarity and clobbering will provide the foundation for WWE Raw on Sept. 12.
Kevin Owens has to fend off Roman Reigns to ensure he's not outnumbered by former members of The Shield at the Clash of Champions pay-per-view on Sept. 25. Cesaro and Sheamus will once again beat each other with thunderous strikes, a title opportunity on their minds.
And the night promises to clear up a number of situations ahead of the PPV.

SummerSlam Predictions 🔮
Is Bo Dallas in the midst of a push? Will Charlotte's protege turn on her? Just what is WWE doing with Enzo Amore?
The Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore will play host as Raw addresses those questions. A backstage report, the Raw preview on WWE.com and a look at the direction of current rivalries offer a look at what to expect on the show.
It all begins on Monday at 8 p.m. ET on the USA Network as Raw battles Monday Night Football for viewers for the first time this year.
On Tap
Owens has the power to keep his upcoming showdown with Seth Rollins a one-on-one contest. All he has to do is outlast Reigns.
As announced last week, The Big Dog will battle Owens on Monday's Raw, and a Reigns victory will turn the Clash of Champions universal title bout into a Triple Threat match.
Reigns will have to keep his eye out for Chris Jericho, though. Owens' friend and tag team partner will likely be lingering as the action unfolds.
Raw will also feature the fourth match in the Best of Seven Series between Cesaro and Sheamus.
Sheamus zeroed in on Cesaro's bad back last Monday to get the win and go up, 3-0. The King of Swing bounced back with a victory during WWE's trip to England.
Now down, 3-1, Cesaro needs a mighty winning streak to survive.
The contests between these two so far have been physical. Expect another slobberknocker in Baltimore.
News, Potential Spoilers
Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks may be more up in the air than one would think at this point.
The Boss challenged Charlotte last Monday to a rematch for the Raw Women's Championship. However, something may be amiss behind the scenes. Dave Meltzer noted on Figure Four Online (h/t Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc.) that WWE has told its web department to not promote the Banks-Charlotte bout.
And as of now, Banks vs. Charlotte is not listed on WWE.com's Clash of Champions page.
Hopefully, Monday's Raw will clear things up. If Bayley is pursuing Charlotte on TV rather than The Boss, WWE may be heading in another direction for the women's title bout, for whatever reason.
Will the United States champ be on Raw to set up his PPV title defense?
As James Caldwell of PWTorch noted, Rusev is advertised for Monday's show. However, The Bulgarian Brute has been off TV for the past few weeks. He has also been posting photos from his honeymoon abroad:
Perhaps he won't re-emerge until Reigns loses out on a chance at the Universal Championship and has to redirect his focus toward Rusev's crown.
Raw Streaks
Bayley remains undefeated since joining the Raw roster.
Last week, she scored the biggest win of her main-roster run when she knocked off women's champ Charlotte in non-title action. That pushed her Raw record to 3-0, per CageMatch.net.
WWE is high on her at the moment and is in the process of building her into a contender. That should continue in Baltimore, should the hug-happy Superstar step into the ring on Monday.
Amore, meanwhile, is suffering a bit of a slide.
When he first entered the scene, WWE let him and Big Cass notch a number of victories. Things have shifted in the past few weeks.
The Shining Stars defeated Cass and Amore last Monday in a surprising turn of events.
As seen on his CageMatch.net profile, Amore has now lost three matches in a row. He is 2-6 in his last eight bouts.
It looked as if he and Cass would keep climbing toward the tag team titles, but the plan is less clear at this point. A back-and-forth feud with The Shining Stars appears to be underway instead.
Questions Answered
Dana Brooke's partnership with Charlotte has long had cracks in it. Those have grown of late.
On last week's Raw, Charlotte stung her protege with a vicious slap after Brooke inadvertently cost her the match against Bayley. Will that tension lead to a split soon?
The Raw preview on WWE.com asked, "What's next for Dana Brooke, who was humiliated and slapped by Charlotte backstage last week?"
It may not happen in Baltimore, but all signs point to her eventually pushing back against the champ. A babyface turn is inevitable.
On a night filled with squash matches, Bo Dallas took part in his own one-sided match last Monday. A more intense Dallas beat on an enhancement talent.
Many wondered what WWE had in mind for a wrestler long relegated to a bottom-feeder role.
The Raw preview asked, "Will Dallas continue to prove to the rest of Team Red that he's not to be taken lightly?" Is that a tease for what his future will hold? It's hard to imagine investing in Dallas at this point.
The good news for Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson after being a part of a horrendous, unfunny segment last week is that things can only go up for the duo.
Their feud with The New Day has struggled to catch fire. WWE has too often presented Gallows and Anderson as jokesters, leading to failed, sophomoric humor. The rivalry needs to ditch the comedy and get straight to the bad blood.
That may be on the way. The Raw preview asked, "Will we see a more aggressive side of The New Day Monday night, less than two weeks before their Raw tag team title defense against Gallows and Anderson?"
That would be a smart move, especially if the same shift applies to Gallows and Anderson. The tag title feud needs both teams to grow fangs ahead of Clash of Champions.
