Arsenal Transfer News: Latest Alexandre Lacazette and Jack Wilshere Rumours
Arsenal have reportedly received a boost in their pursuit of Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette after it emerged the forward wants a "reasonable release clause" added to his contract. Meanwhile, midfielder Jack Wilshere is in line for a new deal with the Gunners.
Lacazette has been associated with a move to the Emirates Stadium for several years now, and French newspaper Le 10 Sport reported if he's to sign a new deal at Lyon, he wants a "fair" release clause, too (h/t Mirror's Jamie Gordon).

The France international's current contract expires in the summer of 2019, and it's suggested he's set to receive a new deal worth £100,000 a week following his flying start to the 2016-17 campaign.
It goes without saying the inclusion of a lower release clause would be sanctioned to increase the forward's chances of earning a move away in future. Squawka outlined Lacazette as one of this term's in-form forces:
The 25-year-old has netted six goals in just three Ligue 1 appearances this season, meaning it may not be long before Lyon are once again forced to fend off a wealth of interest in their star striker.
Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol previously reported the terms Lyon were hoping to sign with their talisman, although there's been no announcement regarding an agreement just yet:
Meanwhile, doubts regarding Wilshere's future with Arsenal are set to be put to bed following reports the midfielder will be offered a new deal with the north Londoners in January.
Despite the fact the player is on loan at Bournemouth for the 2016-17 campaign, manager Arsene Wenger was quoted by the Mirror's Liam Corless, confirming the club's wish to extend Wilshere's stay: "I want him to extend, yes. I think [talks will start] around December. When I make a decision, it is in the best interests of the player and of his interest as well."

The 24-year-old has just entered the final two years of his Arsenal contract and joined the Vitality Stadium club on temporary terms in a bid to prove his fitness after spending the 2015-17 term on the sidelines.
However, the Mirror's Darren Lewis attested to the player's battle getting off to an anticlimactic start:
It seems odd the Gunners would already have it in their plans to extend Wilshere's stay in north London, considering they've barely had a chance to assess his current level of play at Bournemouth.
Wenger is known to have a soft spot for Wilshere, and it appears he'll hardly need the playmaker to perform miracles during his loan spell in order to reward the player with a new deal.
