Cristiano Ronaldo Injury Update: Real Madrid Star Confirms He Will Face Osasuna
Cristiano Ronaldo is set to return to action for Real Madrid against Osasuna on Saturday after stepping up his recovery from the knee injury he suffered with Portugal in the UEFA Euro 2016 final.
"I'm going to play," said Ronaldo when asked whether he would feature in the Primera Division clash by press at a publicity event on Thursday, per Gonzalo Castro of AS.
Ronaldo limped off early on in the summer showpiece after colliding with France's Dimitri Payet and is yet to feature for Real this season.

Following the return of Alvaro Morata from Juventus and Marco Asensio's development into a first-team regular, Los Blancos have plenty of firepower to call upon in Ronaldo's stead, not to mention Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Lucas Vazquez.
Nevertheless, the 31-year-old will be a welcome sight when he returns to the field for Real.
Despite suggestions he's starting to decline—which have some merit, given his tendency to struggle to find the net against stronger opponents—he's a talismanic figure at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium and remains Real's most clinical goalscorer.
If Real are to overcome Barcelona and Atletico Madrid to win LaLiga, they need Ronaldo fit for as much of the campaign as possible. His return to action will give them a vital boost in the title race.
