Manchester City Transfer News: Latest on Claudio Bravo, Wilfried Bony Rumours
Claudio Bravo's proposed move to Manchester City will reportedly be completed once Barcelona sign Ajax goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen, who is said to have agreed to a deal and will join the club during the coming week. Meanwhile, West Ham United are eyeing a loan move for Wilfried Bony until January.
According to the Sun's Richard Forrester, Ajax want Cillessen to play in the UEFA Champions League play-off match against Rostov before they'll allow him to join Barcelona, paving the way for Bravo's move to the Etihad Stadium, which should be completed by the end of the week.
The Catalans have already confirmed they're working on a deal with the Citizens, per the club's official Twitter account:

City manager and former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola has opted not to use England international Joe Hart in goal to start the season, as the longtime No. 1 isn't a perfect fit for his system, which calls for the stopper to be adept at passing the ball.
The Blaugrana alternated between Bravo and Marc-Andre ter Stegen for the bulk of the 2015-16 season, and the latter is expected to assume the role of default starter once he returns from injury.
The move comes as a bit of a surprise, as Bravo has been a constant force in goal for Barcelona. Just take a look at some of his highlights.
His arrival will also lead to Hart's exit, in all likelihood, with Forrester reporting both Everton and Sevilla are interested in the 29-year-old. It's a tough blow for the England international, who has been with City since 2006 and has been one of the more consistent goalkeepers in the Premier League for years.
Guardiola has a reputation for cleaning house as soon as he arrives at a new club, however―he famously ditched stars Deco and Ronaldinho when he took over at Barcelona, two of the world's top players at the time.
Hart will likely find a new job before long, although fans of the club aren't so happy with that, per Oliver Kay of the Times:
One player the fans won't mind seeing go that much is Bony, who has disappointed since moving to the Etihad from Swansea City in January 2015 and is firmly behind 19-year-old Kelechi Iheanacho in the pecking order this season.
The Telegraph (h/t the Sun's Alec Shilton) reported West Ham are interested in taking the 27-year-old Ivorian on loan until January, at which point he could complete a big-money move to China. The Hammers are in desperate need for another striker following injuries to Andy Carroll and Andre Ayew.

The article states Bony already has an agreement with a Chinese club, but their season does not kick off until March, and they tend to do most of their business during the winter window.
Bleacher Report's Dean Jones believes other clubs will be in for Bony as well:
His departure fits Guardiola's tendency of cleaning out the club, and the physical Ivory Coast international doesn't fit the Spaniard's preferred profile of a quick, mobile striker who can contribute to the passing game.
West Ham need to bring in some bodies, as summer arrival Jonathan Calleri is still adapting to the Premier League and might need time to find his form. Bony has proved effective in the past―it couldn't hurt kicking the tyres.
