Chelsea Transfer News: Latest on Kalidou Koulibaly and Nemanja Matic Rumours
Kalidou Koulibaly's agent, Bruno Satin, has said the Napoli defender's future will be resolved imminently amid rumours Chelsea have made a €40 million bid for him.
According to Goal (h/t Football Italia), Satin said: "The talks I'm having are confidential. But I can tell you that in the space of two days, or three at the most, there will be some developments and everything will be settled."
Koulibaly is said to be angling for a move elsewhere, though the Partenopei are eager to keep him at the club.

Gianluca Di Marzio's David Amoyal noted how crucial it is for Napoli that Koulibaly remains, but he believes the powerful defender could thrive in the English top flight:
Koulibaly has emerged as one of Serie A's top defenders in recent seasons and does indeed seem to possess the physicality and defensive prowess to make it in the Premier League.
As WhoScored.com revealed, he's a committed ball-winner:
Here's a look at some of his highlights from last year, which demonstrate the kind of skills Chelsea fans may get to see if he signs:
The Blues have need of his services, as John Terry is set to turn 36 in December and the side conceded 53 goals last year.
Chelsea would likely be a tempting prospect for Koulibaly, whose best years are still to come at 25.
Meanwhile, Italian champions Juventus are preparing to offer the Blues Simone Zaza in a part-exchange deal for Nemanja Matic, per Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t the Telegraph's Richard Amofa).

Juve are in the market for a central midfielder, with Paul Pogba gone and fitness concerns over Claudio Marchisio, Stefano Sturaro and Sami Khedira, while Chelsea could use more cover for Michy Batshuayi and Diego Costa up front.
Zaza featured for only 958 minutes in all competitions last season with Mario Mandzukic, Alvaro Morata and Paulo Dybala all ahead of him in the pecking order.
He still racked up eight goals and two assists—contributing one or the other every 96 minutes—though he may be more well known for his infamous penalty miss for Italy at UEFA Euro 2016.
The Italian could be a useful squad player at Chelsea, but despite Matic's poor form last season, it may be worth keeping him.
N'Golo Kante's addition to the squad has made their midfield options look much healthier, but if Matic is sold, then the Blues go back to having just two players ahead of Mikel John Obi in the centre.
If Matic can rediscover his form at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea will have a midfield to be feared.
