Roy Jones Jr. vs. Rodney Moore: Winner, Scorecard and Reaction
Roy Jones Jr. may be 47 years old, but he hasn't let age stop him from conquering foes in the ring this year. After taking care of Vyron Phillips by technical knockout in March, Jones added to his resume and improved to 64-9 in his career with a unanimous-decision win over Rodney Moore on Saturday evening at the Pensacola Bay Center in Florida.
According to Morrison Brandon of Fightnews.com, all three judges scored the fight 100-90 in favor of Jones.
The fight represented yet another homecoming for Jones, who defeated Paul Vasquez by technical knockout at the Pensacola Bay Center in March 2015 during a stretch that included eight consecutive victories.

However, that run came to an end in December, when Enzo Maccarinelli secured a fourth-round knockout against Jones in Moscow.
Jones rebounded in March with a win over Phillips, but that triumph wasn't particularly impressive since the bout marked Phillips' boxing debut after he spent years trying to evolve into an MMA tactician.
The same can be said of Saturday's victory against Moore.
The veteran entered the Pensacola Bay Center with nine straight losses to his name, and his last win came in 2002. Furthermore, Moore spent more than seven years out of the ring between 2005 and 2012 before he returned for a loss to Andrey Fedosov shortly before the calendar flipped over to 2013.
In other words, don't count this among the great triumphs of Jones' career—even if it was among the last.
"He wants to end his career in Pensacola at some point," manager McGee Wright said, per ESPN.com's Dan Rafael. "I'm not saying this is his last fight, but he started here, and he wants to end it here."
Jones has refused to stop fighting despite the fact that he's approaching 50 years old, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see him in the ring again before he finally calls it a career. But if he chooses to do so now with 64 wins to his name, it would be hard to blame him.
