Jose Mourinho Talks Paul Pogba Transfer After Manchester United Confirm Medical
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho said he is confident Paul Pogba will pass his Red Devils medical without a hitch because he has seen photographs of the Frenchman doing "kung-fu, karate, running, basketball and football" on his Instagram account.
Speaking after United's 2-1 Community Shield victory against Leicester City on Sunday and the confirmation that Juventus had granted Pogba permission to have a medical, per the club's official website, the Old Trafford boss said he is prepared to welcome the midfielder to his squad, per the Manchester Evening News' Samuel Luckhurst:

Pogba, 23, will return to United—the club he left in 2012—from Juve for £89 million following a summer of rumours linking him with the Manchester club, per Sky Sports' Allan Valente.
He will be Mourinho's fourth signing since he succeeded Louis van Gaal as United manager in May, following the arrivals of Eric Bailly, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Old Trafford.
Per the Manchester Evening News' Rob Dawson, Pogba will complete the set of four targets Mourinho asked United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward to sign for him:
The France international will also be the most high-profile signing, and Mourinho believes Old Trafford is a better environment than either Real Madrid or Barcelona for Pogba to advance, per Jeremy Wilson of the Daily Telegraph:
"United is the perfect club to bring him to the level he wants to be. The Premier League is the perfect habitat. If you want to be the best player in the world, if you go to Barcelona or Real Madrid, you are in trouble. I don’t think the other big guys will let you develop. Here he has the conditions to develop, in the most worldwide, incredible Championship, with a team that wants to bring Manchester United to the top again. We have everything to give him.
We know the reason he wants to come. He will get money in any club. He knows the club, the city and many of the players. He wants to be an important part of the Manchester United project.
"
Pogba left United four years ago after failing to break into the first team under Sir Alex Ferguson.
He has since become one of the most formidable central midfielders in world football, capable of contributing both in attack and defence.

Mourinho will surely make him a key figure in his team as he looks to return United to the upper echelons of English and European football following their three-season slump since Ferguson's retirement in 2013.
Many have questioned the fee United look set to pay Juventus for Pogba. Graeme Souness in the Times labelled him "a decent all-round midfielder with some fancy footwork" but said he is not worth £100 million.
However, Mourinho insisted Pogba's value will not look inflated in a few seasons' time, per football writer Chris Winterburn:
He added that United should look at the deal with pride that they can attract a player of such calibre, per Valente: "I don't think Real Madrid were upset when they broke the record with Gareth Bale. I don't think it is a reason to be sad. It is a reason to be proud with the dimension of the club that can do that and can attract players of this dimension."
Indeed, given Pogba has played a key role for Juve as they have won the past four Serie A titles—as well as reaching the 2015 UEFA Champions League final—he has arguably already justified his fee.
If he continues to improve at United and helps the Red Devils return to the top of the football hierarchy, questions about his fee would disappear.
