Manchester United Transfer News: Latest on Willian and Marouane Fellaini Rumours
Chelsea midfielder Willian has admitted he "turned down an offer of a reunion" with Jose Mourinho at Manchester United, opting to sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge and pledging his future to the Blues.
Jamie Styles of the Daily Star quoted the Brazil international speaking about his desire to remain in west London and his admiration of the self-proclaimed Special One—who is rebuilding the Red Devils with major signings.
Willian said:

"I have a great relationship with Jose [Mourinho], but I am Chelsea. Of course, when someone like him is interested in you then you are happy.
But I signed the contract because I like being a Chelsea player and I see good things here. I signed a new contract and that shows how much I want to stay here.
"

The busy talent was Chelsea's best player last term as the Blues surrendered their Premier League crown to Leicester City without a credible challenge—a campaign that saw Mourinho lose his job as a result.
The 27-year-old saved Chelsea on many occasions last season, appearing in 35 Premier League matches, scoring five goals and assisting six times, according to WhoScored.com.
Willian also confirmed his belief and faith in new manager Antonio Conte, per Styles:
"But the simple thing is that I want to win titles. To win titles you have to improve and if we can do that then we have a great chance to win titles this season. We have the players to do this - and the manager.
"
The Brazil ace has started pre-season slowly but possesses the engine-type that Mourinho craves for his sides.

United's failure to lure Willian appears to be good news for Belgium international Marouane Fellaini who seems set to remain at Old Trafford after rumours linked him with a switch to Sunderland to reunited with David Moyes.
Mark Ogden of the Independent reported Mourinho has reassured Fellaini of his place in his squad as he revamps United's midfield.
The player is now prepared to stay and fight for his place as the coach rotates his squad through a campaign that includes a dense UEFA Europa League programme of matches.
Juliette Ferrington of BBC Sport quoted Black Cats boss Moyes talking about his chances of landing a player of Fellaini's standing:

Moyes and previous boss Louis van Gaal both nullified Fellaini's attacking instinct during their tenures in charge as they favoured slow transitional tactics in the final third of the pitch.
The Belgian thrived at Everton when played on the left of midfield but positioned close enough to the striker to make late runs into the box.
Mourinho's preference for 4-3-3 could see Fellaini recover his Toffees form and become a dangerous weapon in the United manager's arsenal.
Fellaini was more than a target man for Everton during his successful spell at Goodison Park, and Mourinho will not be afraid to give the player more licence to get into the box and cause damage to opposition defences.
