Real Madrid vs. Chelsea: 2016 ICC Time, TV Schedule and Live Stream
Real Madrid and Chelsea will continue their preparations for the upcoming campaign with another pre-season friendly, as the two giants will meet in the iconic Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Michigan, as part of the 2016 International Champions Cup.
Chelsea beat Premier League rivals Liverpool 1-0 in their last friendly and appear to be on the right track, gradually improving as pre-season wears on.
The same can't be said for Los Blancos, who were thoroughly outplayed by Paris Saint-Germain in their last friendly, losing 3-1, but Real aren't nearly as far into their preparations as their opponents.

The current UEFA Champions League holders looked more than a little rusty in their first ICC match of the summer, losing 3-1 against an inspired PSG squad. Manager Zinedine Zidane's troops didn't seem to have any interest in defending, and the French champions took full advantage, routinely making stars like Marcelo look silly.

The Brazil international scored Real's only goal of the match from the penalty spot, but other than that, he didn't get much right. It's a natural by-product of starting pre-season relatively late compared to some of the other clubs―even the biggest stars need time to rediscover their form.
Los Blancos don't have much time to waste, however, as they'll meet La Liga rivals Sevilla in the European Super Cup on Tuesday, August 9.
Per Alberto Navarro of the club's official website, Zidane knows his team can't afford another poor outing against Chelsea:
"We can't have this result happening again, but what we have to do and what we're trying to do, is to give our all when we play. We're currently in the preparation phase and we've got to get up to speed, that's what pre-season is for. We know that the La Liga season is a very long one and that we've got to make a strong start.
"
Chelsea limited opportunities for Liverpool well in their feisty 1-0 win, and while the Reds didn't exactly put much pressure on John Terry and his team-mates, the ease with which the Blues defended was evident. Whether that's manager Antonio Conte's influence or a result of this being just a pre-season match will become somewhat clearer during the season.
Under Conte, the Blues are playing tough, physical football, covering lots of ground and moving the ball at pace. The attack is still a work in progress, but Conte's mentality is already translating well, and it's that spirit he praised after the win over Liverpool, per the club's official Twitter account:
But while the mental aspect of grabbing a win over a Premier League opponent likely played a part in Chelsea's fierce and physical battle with Liverpool, Conte is more likely to go back to experimenting and giving some of his youngsters a chance against Real.

Like so many managers, the Italian treats friendlies as little more than a training exercise, and he hasn't been afraid to mix things up so far, including using Ruben Loftus-Cheek as a forward.
The likes of Michy Batshuayi are likely in for a little more playing time, as Conte assesses his options, while Real will turn to their youngsters and fringe players first and foremost.
Don't expect either team to aggressively push for the win on Saturday, despite the intensity the Blues showed against the Reds.
