Manchester United Transfer News: Paul Pogba Agent Fee Stalling Move, Top Rumours
Paul Pogba's move from Juventus to Manchester United is reportedly being held up because of a row over which party will pay the agent fee due to the Frenchman's representative, Mino Raiola.
According to the Daily Mail's Mike Keegan, Pogba, 23, is close to sealing a £110 million move back to Old Trafford—having left United for Juve in 2012—but the Old Lady are refusing to contribute at all to Raiola's fee for brokering the deal.
Per Keegan, United could thus be left having to add a further "£18.4 million to the fee for the agent and the player" in an already astronomical—and record-breaking—deal.

As well as dragging their feet on Raiola's fee, Juve are also reportedly still trying to convince Pogba to stay at the club by promising a genuine tilt at the UEFA Champions League in the coming campaign.
According to Sky (via Football Italia), while Raiola is pushing Pogba to return to United, Juve are trying to use the apparent imminent arrival of Gonzalo Higuain to convince Pogba of their Champions League chances—the Red Devils will only be in the UEFA Europa League next season.
Pogba is likely tempted by a return to his former club due to the presence of Jose Mourinho as the manager, with the Portuguese sure to make the Frenchman a major part of his project as he looks to return United to the upper echelons of European football, per Bleacher Report's Sam Tighe:
Real Madrid were previously seen as major contenders to sign Pogba, but it now looks as though the way is clear for his return to United, per the Mirror's Ed Malyon:
The disagreement over Raiola's fee is the final hurdle for United, but they will surely not allow it to prevent the deal going through.
Per Serie A expert Adam Digby on beIN Sports, although the fee is huge, Pogba "is only going to get better, and there is already no peer he can really be compared to."
He could well be the superstar United need to end three years of decline and disappointment since the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson, and if he helps them win the Premier League again he will have been worth the money.
Furthermore, despite Juve's attempts to persuade Pogba to stay, they are reportedly already preparing for his departure by lining up a move for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi, who is valued at between €20 million (£16.8 million) and €30 million (£25.2 million), per L'Equipe (via Get French Football News).
The Frenchman will be more than affordable for Juve if they sell Pogba, a scenario that is looking increasingly likely despite the hold-up over Raiola.
