Manchester United Transfer News: Paul Pogba Agent Meeting Set, Latest Rumours
Manchester United and Mino Raiola, Paul Pogba's agent, are reportedly set to meet with Juventus regarding a potential £100 million move.
According to David Amoyal, translating for GianlucaDiMarzio.com, the Red Devils' courting of Pogba is becoming "more and more concrete," with the club and Raiola requesting to meet with Juve so they can "present the first official offer" for the midfielder.
Per the Guardian's Fabrizio Romano and Marcus Christenson, the offer could be made "in the next 24 hours" and will consist of £100 million including £13 million in add-ons.

It is anticipated the Bianconeri will turn down that initial bid, as they want to keep Pogba in Turin—it will reportedly take at least the full £100 million as well as add-ons to get them to the table.
Further, the meeting with the Red Devils will allow Juve "to get a sense of whether they would be prepared to raise their offer," though Pogba's own desire to leave or remain will likely be of vital importance also.
In terms of the Frenchman's wages, he can expect a proposal of £250,000 each week.
Romano emphasised the importance of the meeting:
"The meeting will be so important to make first bid, to understand if Pogba will ask to leave, if Man Utd can find an agreement with Juve

Sports writer Jonas Giaever believes it to be a strong signal that the midfielder could well be on his way back to Old Trafford this summer:
Far too often last season United were forced to rely on Marouane Fellaini and Michael Carrick. Along with Bastian Schweinsteiger, it often made for a slow and largely immobile midfield that often lacked creativity and energy.
Pogba has those qualities in abundance, and he's an effective contributor going forward—he accrued eight goals and 12 assists in Serie A alone last season.
WhoScored.com highlighted his passing and dribbling skills:
The 23-year-old works hard defensively as well and is evidently willing to come deep to win back the ball as he did for France at UEFA Euro 2016:
The sum of money needed to land him is an incredible amount, even for United—particularly as they let him go when he was a youngster—but he could have a profound effect on the team.
Meanwhile, United have reportedly requested to be kept in the loop as to Fabinho's situation at Monaco with the full-back given the green light to move this summer, per the Daily Mail's Simon Jones.
The 22-year-old had an excellent year in Ligue 1 and is valued at £25 million. Here are some of his best moments:
Right-back has been something of a problem area for United since Gary Neville retired—Antonio Valencia and Rafael occupied the role reasonably well without truly cementing the position as their own, while Matteo Darmian came in last summer and endured a mixed first campaign.
Here's a look at Fabinho's recent numbers compared with the Italian's, per Squawka:
| Apps | 34 | 28 |
| Minutes | 3,060 | 1,924 |
| Goals | 6 | 1 |
| Assists | 4 | 0 |
| Chances Created per 90 mins | 0.74 | 0.56 |
| Tackles per 90 mins | 2.62 | 3.23 |
| Interceptions per 90 mins | 2.24 | 1.92 |
| Clearances per 90 mins | 2.88 | 2.95 |
| Aerial Duels per 90 mins | 1.82 | 0.94 |
| Pass Completion | 81% | 79% |
The Brazilian is strong going forward but is similarly capable defending, the hallmark of an excellent modern full-back.
At his age, he's still got time to get even better. There has been little suggestion that Darmian is in danger of losing his place at Old Trafford, but if United do hope to provide competition for him they could do a lot worse.
