Track and Field 2016 Olympic Trials: Sunday Live Results and Analysis
The United States Olympic qualifying for track and field is now complete.
There was a lot of drama on the final day of action from Eugene. Allyson Felix will not be able to defend her gold medal in the 200-meter after missing out on qualifying by 0.01 seconds. Luckily, she has already qualified in the 400-meter.
Jenn Suhr will be able to defend her gold medal after dominating the pole vault, while Erik Kynard will try to improve upon his silver after an easy win in the high jump.
Molly Huddle became the first American woman to win both the 5000-meter and 10000-meter, although she might focus on just the latter in the Olympics. Either way, she has clearly proven herself as an elite runner at this level.
In the 400-meter hurdles, Kerron Clement had an impressive showing on the men's side while 16-year-old Sydney McLaughlin qualified on the women's side behind winner Dalilah Muhammad.
A lot of dreams were shattered on Day 10 for those who just missed out on glory, but we wish nothing but the best for those who achieved their goals and are heading to Rio.
