USMNT Watch: Klinsmann Linked with England Job, Adu Makes Season Debut
Ever since England were knocked out of Euro 2016, United States men's national team manager Jurgen Klinsmann has been linked with the Three Lions job.
Over the last few days, the speculation surrounding the former Tottenham Hotspur striker and the England opening has escalated.
In addition to the Klinsmann news, one of the national team program's former prodigies made a rare appearance in the second division of American soccer.

We'll also have updates on the USMNT players in MLS and transfer news below in our latest USMNT Watch.
Klinsmann Linked with England Job
The latest report to link Klinsmann with the England vacancy came from Steve Brenner at the Mirror on Sunday.
The report claims that Klinsmann will be allowed to take the position as head coach, if offered, with the Three Lions due to his fracturing relationship with U.S. Soccer president Sunil Gulati.
On Friday, Grant Wahl of Sports Illustrated claimed in a tweet that there has been no formal contact between the two federations:
Whether Klinsmann decides to move from the United States to England to continue his coaching career remains to be seen, but it is peculiar that no one involved in the situation has denied the reports.
A lot can change in the next few weeks as England's search heats up. If Klinsmann opts to leave the USMNT, there will be a small list of managers out there with the credentials worthy of taking over for the 51-year-old.
Former Real Salt Lake and New York City FC manager Jason Kreis should be considered, as well as FC Dallas boss Oscar Pareja. There is a growing amount of support for Pareja to take over if Klinsmann leaves due to his record with youth development at the club level.
Freddy Adu Makes Season Debut in NASL
We don't blame you if you've lost track of former USMNT phenom Freddy Adu. To be honest, we forgot he was still on active roster before Saturday night.
The 27-year-old made his 2016 season debut in the 73rd minute of the Tampa Bay Rowdies' 4-1 loss to the Carolina RailHawks.
The owner of 17 USMNT senior appearances replaced former Chelsea player Joe Cole in the defeat at WakeMed Soccer Park.
Oguchi Onyewu Attempts Comeback with Rangers
Another name we haven't heard in quite some time is that of former USMNT defender Oguchi Onyewu.

Onyewu linked up with Rangers for their preseason tour in an attempt to earn a contract. The 34-year-old started against the Charleston Battery in South Carolina on Wednesday night, but according to Christopher Jack of the Evening Times, no deal will be offered to Onyewu.
Onyewu last played competitively for Charlton Athletic during the 2014-15 season.
Darlington Nagbe, Matt Besler Named to MLS All-Star Fan XI
Portland Timbers midfielder Darlington Nagbe and Sporting Kansas City defender Matt Besler were voted into the MLS All-Star Fan XI on Saturday.

Rookie full-back Keegan Rosenberry of the Philadelphia Union was the only other American named to the lineup of 11 players for the MLS All-Star Game on July 28 against Arsenal at Avaya Stadium in San Jose, California.
The rest of the roster will be announced on July 17 by All-Star and San Jose Earthquakes boss Dominic Kinnear.
Lee Nguyen Scores During Saturday MLS Action
New England Revolution midfielder Lee Nguyen opened the scoring in his side's 3-1 win over the Columbus Crew on Saturday night. The 29-year-old, who has five goals and six assists, is looking to make his way back into the USMNT squad for the September World Cup qualifying matches.

Elsewhere in MLS, the center-back duo of Matt Hedges and Walker Zimmerman helped FC Dallas earn a clean sheet against San Jose on Friday. Both defenders are deserving of call-ups from whoever the USMNT manager is moving forward.
Harry Shipp, whose campaign to make the USMNT roster lost steam after his trade to Montreal, scored for the Impact in their 1-1 road draw with Real Salt Lake.
Clint Dempsey, Gyasi Zardes, Kyle Beckerman and Tim Howard all started in their respective matches on Saturday.
