
Gary Neville Reportedly Gets on Iceland Bus After England's Euro 2016 Defeat
Gary Neville reportedly added to the humiliation he suffered as England were dumped out of Euro 2016 by Iceland on Monday by boarding the wrong bus after the 2-1 last-16 defeat.
According to George Bellshaw in Metro, the recently departed England assistant manager found himself on Iceland's bus rather than the Three Lions' coach despite the presence of a "Come on Iceland" banner in the window.
Neville followed manager Roy Hodgson in resigning his post with the England squad soon after the Iceland loss, another low point for the former Manchester United man in his fledgling coaching career, per Squawka:

The senior staff really had no leg to stand on after England were knocked out of the France tournament in Nice by a nation with a population of 330,000—similar to that of Coventry—and ranked 34th in the world by FIFA.
What little dignity the 41-year-old Neville had left following the defeat would surely have ebbed from him when he realised he was on the wrong bus.
It is rather apt considering England's calamitous Euro 2016 campaign, in which a talented squad of players spent much of the time looking as though they had no idea what they were doing.
