Real Madrid Transfer News: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and James Rodriguez Rumours
Real Madrid target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has reiterated his "dream" to one day play in Spain, intensifying speculation of a move to the Santiago Bernabeu. Elsewhere, Manchester United have been told they can buy James Rodriguez for £50 million.
Aubameyang recently visited the town of El Barraco—from where his mother's family hails—and told the Avila newspaper he still hopes to feature in La Liga (h/t FourFourTwo).
The Borussia Dortmund striker said: "For me it is a dream to play here in Spain, because here I have part of my family. It has been my dream since I was very little. I'm happy to be here because it has been a while."

Los Blancos recently received a boost in their hopes of landing Aubameyang after the Guardian's Fabrizio Romano insisted Premier League suitors Manchester City would no longer compete for the player:
However, the obstacle of how to fit Aubameyang in at the Bernabeu remains, and with Karim Benzema leading the line in Madrid, the Gabon international would struggle to fit in under manager Zinedine Zidane.
That being said, Aubameyang appears likely to have options in front of him this summer, with Real not the only team in the market to sign the hitman, according to the Guardian's Ed Aarons:
The 27-year-old was one of Europe's most lethal forces in front of goal last season and netted 39 goals in 49 total appearances for the Black and Yellows, with whom he has a contract until the summer of 2020.
Zidane's attack doesn't look likely to shift as long as Benzema remains, particularly with Alvaro Morata also back at the club for the time being, but Aubameyang's preference for a Spanish switch certainly plays in their favour.

Meanwhile, Los Merengues are said to be open to the idea of selling Colombia forward Rodriguez for a fee of £50 million, according to the Mirror's David McDonnell.
The Mirror's Ed Malyon added Britain's recent exit from the European Union will have a knock-on effect at Real, where Welsh native Gareth Bale will now be considered a non-EU player:
That means the club will be over their limit for non-EU players (three), although it's worth noting any implications from the Brexit vote may not actually take effect for another few years.
United are the club that stands to benefit from Rodriguez's newfound availability in any case, with Real supposedly willing to sell the winger for £6 million less than what they paid Monaco for his services in 2014.
