Germany vs. Hungary: Score, Reaction from 2016 International Friendly
Germany beat Hungary 2-0 on Saturday at the Veltins-Arena, Gelsenkirchen, Germany, in their final warm-up game ahead of Euro 2016.
An Adam Lang own goal separated the two sides in the first half, while Thomas Muller netted shortly after the hour-mark.
After an electric start for Germany, Hungary set about restricting their opponents' opportunities but provided little threat of their own, while Joachim Low's side remained clinical and composed in possession, if lacking a spark of inspiration at times.

The hosts found the back of the net inside the first minute when Julian Draxler tapped home Mario Gotze's ball at the back post, but the strike was inexplicably disallowed, per DW Sports' Stefan Bienkowski:
Germany maintained their strong start as they pushed forward in search of an early goal, and Hungary goalkeeper Gabor Kiraly was needed to tip a long-range Muller effort round the post.
From the resulting corner, Antonio Rudiger enjoyed a free header but somehow contrived to direct it well wide, per DW Sports:
At the other end, Balazs Dzsudzsak stung Manuel Neuer's palms from the edge of the area and the German then made an excellent save from Adam Szalai, even though his follow-up attempt was offside.
The visitors settled into the game as the half wore on, stymieing Die Mannschaft's attacking rhythm, and Adam Pinter came close with a volley onto the roof of the net.
It was the hosts who drew first blood, though, when Gotze's attempt to stab home at the near post was deflected in off Lang, following a clever move involving Draxler and the overlapping Jonas Hector on the left, per Germany:
Onefootball and Bienkowski sympathised with Gotze:
"Turns out it was an OWN GOAL. Sorry Mario, you'll have to wait a bit to get a goal. #GERHUN pic.twitter.com/jILVPDH28G

Laszlo Kleinheisler attempted to break up a subdued start to the second period when he latched onto the ball following a poor clearance from Emre Can, but he could only strike his effort from distance into his own player.
Muller broke the monotony in the 63rd minute when he bundled home substitute Mario Gomez's header after Kiraly did well to keep it out—his 32nd international goal.

Tamas Priskin almost helped Hungary hit back immediately from the bench when he raced clear and caught out Neuer, but he could not get his lob on target.
Bernd Storck's side struggled to get up field for the final half hour as substitutions interrupted the flow of the game for both teams, while Germany were content to control the proceedings with the result assured.
After suffering a shock 3-1 defeat to Slovakia in their previous game, Germany's comfortable win will go some way to restoring their confidence before the showpiece in France.
Die Mannschaft kick off the tournament with two difficult games in Ukraine and Poland, but a place in the knockout stages beckons nevertheless.
Post-Match Reaction
Germany boss Low reflected on the performance and gave the latest on his players' fitness, per the national team's official website:
"It was important to keep a clean sheet. The win gives us stability and a good feeling for next week. [Bastian] Schweinsteiger obviously hasn’t got his rhythm yet, we’ll have to wait and see about [Mats] Hummels. Sami Khedira’s substitution was just a precautionary measure.
"
Die Mannschaft defender Jerome Boateng added: "We started very well and kept the ball moving, but perhaps held on to it too long. We gave the ball away too much in the second half, but overall were good. I believe we can be satisfied, we played better than last time."
Meanwhile, Hungary manager Storck said to expect more of the same from his side in the Euros: "We tried hard to play from the back. Obviously it was tough to play against such a tough opponent. We knew we would be put under pressure. We gave our best and gave a good account of ourselves. Our strengths are our defensive compactness. We will do the same against Austria."
