Manchester United Transfer News: David De Gea, Keylor Navas 'Betrayal' Rumours
Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea is said to be on Real Madrid's radar once again following reports Los Blancos president Florentino Perez is set to "betray" Keylor Navas in a bid to see the deal go through.
Jordi Blanco of Catalan daily Sport reported a source close to the Santiago Bernabeu has said Perez will "carry out his second betrayal" of Navas after the two goalkeepers failed to swap locations last summer.

De Gea and Navas were expected to complete a deadline-day switch of clubs last September, but an alleged paperwork error meant the window passed without either player moving, per BBC Sport's Simon Stone.
Both stoppers shone for their respective clubs this season, with De Gea helping United win the FA Cup, while Navas aided Real in their UEFA Champions League triumph. However, Metro's Chris Winterburn has said manager Zinedine Zidane is a fan of the Costa Rican:
Los Merengues risk losing a substantial sum if they fail to move for De Gea in 2016, however, after it was revealed Perez agreed a compensation fee with his agent, Jorge Mendes, in the instance he failed to move this year.
An extract from Blanco's report read: "Perez agreed with Jorge Mendes to pay compensation to the goalkeeper at the same time as signing a private contract to complete the signing in 2016. In the case that they don't, Los Blancos would have to pay De Gea a sum in respect of damages, which could be more than 20 million euros."

That €20m million (£15.5 million) fee risks having an impact on Real's other transfer plans, and new United boss Jose Mourinho happens to share Mendes as an agent, which could help the Red Devils' cause, per Spanish daily El Confidencial (h/t Sport Witness).
In his first summer as United manager, it's reported Mourinho is "absolutely determined" to see De Gea remain at Old Trafford, and ESPN's Alex Shaw previously outlined the Portuguese as a major factor in seeing that become a reality:
Many of the players at Old Trafford may be tempted to put aside any doubts over the club's direction for the time being and see out at least one season under Mourinho.
That being said, Navas would be no small consolation prize for either club after featuring as one of Real's most consistent stars in 2015-16, as outlined by Nigerian broadcaster Deji Kofi Faremi:
Blanco also noted Perez may encourage the move for De Gea regardless of where Navas ends up, meaning the Costa Rica No. 1 could be forced to settle as second fiddle to the Spain international.
With Spanish allegiances seemingly playing a hand and a considerable compensation fee at risk, Real look set to bid for De Gea once more, and the question is whether United can hold on to their key figure.
