Arsenal Transfer News: Aaron Ramsey Talks Barcelona Amid Latest Rumours
Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has refused to rule out the possibility of a future move to Barcelona, confessing he would "love to some day play in La Liga." Plus, the Gunners face a fight to keep Hector Bellerin from rejoining his former club.
In a recent interview with Juan Castro of Spanish daily Marca, Ramsey commented on the longstanding links between him and the Blaugrana, hinting he would be more than open to a switch in future (h/t Metro's Max Miller).

"Barca plays very good football and Arsenal want to do the same," the Welshman said. "I’ve said it once: I would love to someday play in La Liga, at one of the greats. I see their league each week. It suits my style. Maybe I will someday, who knows what will happen in the future?"
It's possible Wales fans could soon see their two biggest stars, Ramsey and Real Madrid's Gareth Bale, once again going toe-to-toe in league competition, with the latter having departed Tottenham Hotspur in 2013.

Ramsey's tenure at the Emirates Stadium had been plagued by injury, as shown by Transfermarkt, but the midfielder has made a surge over the past two seasons to stake his claim as a pivotal member of manager Arsene Wenger's XI.
Some may agree his passing-oriented style is suited to Spain, and Barca more specifically, and Sport Witness argued the notion of his talents transferring to the Camp Nou isn't all that implausible:
Arsenal have made a habit of selling top talents to Barcelona in recent years, with Cesc Fabregas, Thomas Vermaelen, Alex Song and Alexander Hleb standing out as some of the more recent examples of players who have left north London for Catalonia.
Football writer Samuel Jay C recently commented on the Gunners' need to hang onto Ramsey if they're to preserve what looks to be a thriving stable of midfield talents:
Barcelona saw engine-room stalwart Xavi Hernandez leave their shores last year, and the club is likely aware Andres Iniesta, 32, is gradually ebbing closer to retirement, with Ramsey a potential replacement.
Another Arsenal star reportedly on Barca's radar is right-back Hector Bellerin, and Jack de Menezes of the Independent reported Dani Alves' projected move to Juventus could mean they seek a replacement this summer.

Bellerin spent eight years in Barcelona's academy ranks before leaving for Arsenal in 2011, and he's made a storming rise as part of the first team at the Emirates Stadium over the past 18 months, now regarded as an essential senior player.
The Gunners can take heart from recent comments by the defender, who said he can't see himself "anywhere other than Arsenal," per Goal's SW Lim, but Barca's magnetism has pulled off the unlikely in the past.
