While Nyquist will be at the epicenter of the sporting world for at least a few minutes on Saturday, owner Paul Reddam isn't feeling any pressure, just like at the Kentucky Derby, as he explained to Peter Schmuck of the Baltimore Sun:

"

Actually, I don't think we were very stressed about the Derby. Everyone was shockingly relaxed. I think that reflected confidence in the horse. This time, if there's any nervousness it will be more about, 'OK, we're going to have a soupy track, it sounds like. We haven't been on that.' But beyond that, it is what it is. So we're pretty good that way, nerve-wise.

"

That soupy track could pose a problem as weather forecasts, per Weather.com, say that there will be plenty of rain all throughout Saturday, which will make the track conditions less than desirable.

Especially with Exaggerator, the Preakness' second-favorite horse, being the best rain horse in the field. He showed off his dominance in foul weather at the Santa Anita Derby in April:

If the track doesn't hold the expected downpour well, then there's an improving chance that Nyquist's Triple Crown bid could end in anticlimactic, disappointing fashion.
