Real Madrid Transfer News: Alvaro Morata, James Rodriguez Plan Set by Juventus
Juventus will reportedly inquire about Real Madrid playmaker James Rodriguez when they meet with Los Blancos to discuss the future of striker Alvaro Morata.
According to Corriere dello Sport (via Football Italia), the Serie A club will discuss Morata's future with Real following May 28's UEFA Champions League final, as the Spanish giants have a €30 million (£23 million) buy-back option on the 23-year-old forward, but Juve director Beppe Marotta "admitted" there will be other subjects up for discussion.
Namely, the potential for the Old Lady to "open talks" for James, who is valued at between €50 million (£38.3 million) and €60 million (£46 million) and could be on his way out of the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium after a troubled 2015-16 season, the report added.

The Colombian has long been linked with a number of other top clubs, including Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain, with the latter reportedly willing to shell out up to €100 million (£78.2 million) for James, per AS (via Goal's Tom Maston).
Indeed, Bleacher Report's Dean Jones previously suggested a return to France for the former AS Monaco man could be ideal after a season in which Rodriguez has lost form somewhat:
After an excellent debut campaign at the Bernabeu in 2014-15 under Carlo Ancelotti, he fell out of favour with managers Rafael Benitez and Zinedine Zidane this season, during which the Primera Division club questioned his lifestyle and fitness, per Sport (via Goal).
Despite his immense talent and creativity, James is no longer a guaranteed starter in the Real side, and he is constantly overshadowed by the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale.
However, the 24-year-old is a top-quality player and could be a fine addition to a Juve squad in which he would be one of the key attacking stars.
It certainly seems as though Juve are likely to lose the popular Morata, with Real reportedly planning to buy him back in order to sell him on to the highest bidder, per AS (via football writer Dylan Fahy):
Arsenal are reportedly willing to pay £51 million for the talented Spanish forward, per Corriere dello Sport (via the Sun's Lee Astley).
Though they play in different positions, adding James to the Juve squad would make up for the loss of creativity they would suffer by selling Morata.
And given his recent reduced role in the side, Real could be prepared to sell the former FC Porto man for around €60 million (£46 million) while also accepting a similar fee for Morata.
That would give Los Blancos a huge transfer fund to use over the summer as they look to add another superstar to their talent-laden side in a bid to win La Liga for the first time since 2011-12.
