Crazy Recent Sports Moments That You Might Have Missed
Sports give us fans a lot of jaw-dropping moments that are unexplainable and hard to understand on the regular, but every once in a while, something happens that is so mind-blowing that it's tossed into the "Never Will I Unsee That" folder.
This article is for those times.
Just when we've all thought it's been done before, a team or athlete goes out and proves us wrong by doing a near-improbable feat that will forever be a sensation.
Pretty Much Anything J.J. Watt Does
If you look up the word "freak" in the sports dictionary, the photo of Houston Texans superstar J.J. Watt might just be used as the definition, because the guy can do things that most of us couldn't imagine.
Whether it's playing catch with a fan who's sitting in the upper deck at a stadium, doing box jumps that are built higher than some human beings or overturning a 1,000-plus pound tire, Watt has made me think he's not from this planet.
It's not that Watt is just a freak athlete; it's that a guy his size shouldn't be able to even attempt the things that he's capable of doing.
Odell Beckham Jr's Catches
There are few people on this planet who can do the things that New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. can on the football field.
Sure, OBJ gets paid a lot of money to haul in passes each and every week, but he makes the ordinary seem extraordinary, and he makes the impossible, well, possible. Simply put, Beckham has the best hands in the league right now.
Jaws are still being put back in place following his one-handed, finger-tipped catch against the Dallas Cowboys in 2014, but he showed it was no fluke by making another absurd grab in 2015 against the Washington Redskins for a touchdown.
If history's any indication, Odell will be blowing fans' minds once again this year with more highlight-reel catches.
Stephen Curry Doesn't Miss
It's long been said that two-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry is the greatest shooter in league history. After watching the dude warm up prior to games, it's hard to argue that statement.
What Curry does on the floor during games is ridiculous, capable of hitting shots from anywhere on the floor at strange angles and extreme levels of difficulty, but it's not as if any of us should be shocked by it considering he actually practices them!

Steph's the only guy I've ever witnessed who, when shooting, I actually believe the ball will always go through the net. That's how good he is—and he can do it as well from 80 feet away as he can from two feet away.
15th-Seeded Middle Tennessee State Upsets No. 2-Seeded Michigan State
There might be jaw-dropping plays that are nearly impossible to believe, but let's not overlook the rarity of a No. 15 seed in the NCAA tournament crushing the national title hopes of a No. 2 seed—which happened in this year's tourney.
What Middle Tennessee State did in shocking Michigan State and busting everyone's brackets is almost unexplainable, as the Raiders may have pulled off the biggest upset in tournament history by beating the Spartans 90-81.
No. 2 seeds have lost before to No. 15 seeds, but with Michigan State so heavily favored to win the entire tournament, MTSU's victory was something no one would have dreamt of happening.
Andrew Novak's 100-Foot Putt During the NCAA Regionals
Literally just happening the other day, it sure seems as if Wofford golfer Andrew Novak could make a killing hustling people in putt-putt because he has a sweet stroke on the greens.
The junior proved that by nailing a 100-foot putt for a birdie on the 18th hole during the NCAA regionals that showed the kid knows how to read the green and put just the right amount of touch on the ball to sink this thing.
I've watched this over and over and am more amazed each time I see it.
Jordan Spieth's Marshmallow Trick
Look, Jordan Spieth might just be the best golfer on the planet, but, unlike others who held that distinction in the past, the 22-year-old knows things don't always need to be so serious.
Look no further than this unbelievable, magician-like golf ball trick he did the other day, where Spieth actually caught a marshmallow in his mouth that was sitting on top of his ball prior to hitting it.
The dude completely laid out to catch it, but this isn't something that should be tried at home—because normal people would look stupid even attempting it.
That Deflected Goal By the Anaheim Ducks
Just when you thought being a hockey goalie couldn't be any harder, something like this happens to prove that there's no telling how a puck might sneak into a net.
During a game earlier this season between the Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings, L.A. netminder Jonathan Quick allowed one of the most improbable goals you'll ever see, as the puck was headed wide until, wait for it, in midair, Ducks player Rickard Rakell redirected it into the net.
Sure, it wasn't as if Rakell really played it that way—although he may never admit that—but it still ended up getting the job done for a mind-blowing goal.
Leicester City Wins the English Premier League Title

Just when us sports fans thought that we've seen the story of a true underdog, Leicester City FC comes along to crash the party and earn the title as the biggest David versus Goliath champ ever.
What the English team did by winning the Premier League this year is nothing short of remarkable, as the club overcame 5,000-1 odds to take home the title, rewarding those fans who bet on them with a big payout.
There have been unforgettable wins by underdogs, but nothing that was as nearly impossible as Leicester City calling themselves EPL champs this season.
The Kansas City Royals Do the Cleveland Indians Dirty
For all intents and purposes, when Cleveland Indians catcher Roberto Perez hit a ball up the middle during a game last year against the Kansas City Royals, he probably thought he'd be standing on first base.
The Royals' middle infielders weren't going to let that happen, though.
While Perez isn't exactly quick up the basepaths, K.C.'s Omar Infante and Alcides Escobar still made the play of the MLB season with their nifty little glove-flip assist for the out.
The play is one of the most impressive things I've ever seen done on a baseball field, proving that ballplayers can, sometimes, use their teammates at the strangest times—and shows the chemistry the two had in the field.
Dude Perfect Sets Another Crazy World Record
Words can't describe just how insane this trick shot pulled off by the guys of Dude Perfect really is.
I could sit here and try, but I'll just let you watch this bucket that was shot from a skyscraper 533 feet above the hoop and try to figure out how it actually went in.
The group has been killin' the trick-shot game for the past few years, but this is, without question, the most impressive feat it's ever accomplished. My mind hurts just thinking about how it made this work.
