Arsenal Transfer News: Alvaro Morata Deal Wanted by Juventus, Latest Rumours
Juventus will reportedly make a "last desperate attempt" to keep hold of Arsenal target Alvaro Morata this summer in a bid to steer Europe's giants away from their former Real Madrid hitman.
According to Italian outlet Calciomercato.com, Real will exercise their €30 million (£23.7 million) buyback clause to bring the striker to Madrid, but the Bianconeri are willing to pay €40 million (£31.5 million) to get him back.

Arsenal are mentioned alongside Manchester United and Chelsea as three of the Premier League outfits chasing the Spain international, whose time in Turin looks set to come to an end—or a temporary one, at the least.
The Guardian's Ed Aarons rates Morata so highly that he recently urged Los Merengues to keep hold of the player rather than open an auction on his signature this summer:
One thing the Gunners may be able to offer that Juve can't is a higher wage packet, considering the financial options in England are generally regarded to be much greater than anything available in Italy.
However, Juventus general director Giuseppe Marotta recently told Italian broadcaster Mediaset Premium the forward is enjoying his development with the Old Lady (h/t AS):
"Keeping Morata at the club is an important objective for us but what happens at the Champions League final may have much to do with his future. We’ll do all we can to fulfil his wishes to stay in Turin where he feels he is at a club that is perfect for his career development.
Morata’s future doesn’t solely depend on Juventus despite our desire for him to remain here but the outcome of the conversations with Real Madrid will dictate his future.
"
The Gunners are looking to bring in attacking reinforcements after learning injury-ravaged striker Danny Welbeck will sit out nine months on the sidelines following surgery, per BBC Sport.
This has undoubtedly encouraged manager Arsene Wenger's feelings the club needs new faces this summer, having recently told the press he'll look to make three signings, per the Daily Star's Colin Harvey:
"We want to keep the squad stable over the summer while strengthening where possible.
You want the group to be stimulated and to believe that we have improved the quality.
I must say, we want to combine technical stability with players that we know want to play and know our game.
Maybe bring in three players for example - that's the right level for me.
"
Arsenal began the 2015-16 campaign utilising winger Theo Walcott as their central striker before re-enlisting Olivier Giroud up front, and the Frenchman proceeded to score 24 goals in 54 appearances in all competitions, his best season total in Arsenal colours.
David Amoyal of Gianluca Di Marzio's website has spoken highly of Juve's loyalty to their players as a factor in the matter, however, perhaps a reason to believe the Serie A champions may yet convince the player to stay:
With Welbeck injured, Giroud now sits as the only senior, recognised striker under Wenger's command, although Alexis Sanchez, Alex Iwobi and Joel Campbell can be fielded in a more advanced role.
The one thing that looks certain at this point is Real will reacquire their former starlet's signature, and the Gunners will be one of the parties looking to emerge victorious in the bidding battle for his services.
