Real Madrid Transfer News: Latest Rumours, Huge Stars Wanted by Los Blancos
Eden Hazard's chances of moving to La Liga reportedly hinge on Cristiano Ronaldo's future at Real Madrid. If the latter joins Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea winger Hazard could be on his way to Spain.
La Liga expert Guillem Balague described the situation to Sky Sports:
"It all depends on the transfer movements. Paris St-Germain are pushing for Cristiano Ronaldo to move to France.
Real Madrid think that if Ronaldo doesn't go to PSG they will have to renew Ronaldo's contract. If he stays on Hazard may not be the player they go for but they do need new players. It's all still a bit up in the air.

Rumours of Ronaldo moving to the French capital have been growing recently.
His agent has reportedly met with PSG officials to discuss a deal, according to French publication Le Parisien (h/t Jack de Menezes of the Independent). But these talks are said to have been about a transfer in the summer of 2017, one year before Ronaldo's current deal with Los Blancos is set to expire.

Ronaldo was even supposed to have travelled to Paris earlier this season to talk up a move, per France Football (h/t the Daily Mirror's Neil McLeman).
Ronaldo fast-tracking a move to PSG would put Hazard in play for Los Merengues. There's been plenty of speculation linking Chelsea's No. 10 with Real.
Last month, the player's agent was even forced to deny a transfer had already been agreed, according to Adrian Kajumba of the Daily Mirror. Incoming Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is already trying to steer Hazard away from both Real and PSG, per the Evening Standard's Simon Johnson.
Johnson's report also revealed how the Belgian attacking midfielder would prefer a move to the Spanish capital: "It is believed Hazard has no real desire to return to Ligue 1, but moving to Real is a lifelong ambition."
But PSG may already be making their own move to sign Hazard, according to Matt Spiro of beIN Sports:
Hazard has been far from his best for Chelsea this season but has revived his form lately. He was the best player on the pitch during the Blues' recent 1-1 Premier League draw with Liverpool at Anfield.
Hazard scored and bossed proceedings in the final third, as numbers from Squawka showed:
The same source detailed the late-season turnaround in Hazard's form:
There's no doubt Hazard is a match-winner at his best. But he's never been the consistent force Ronaldo has during his time at the Santiago Bernabeu.
It will take more than Hazard to adequately replace Real's prolific No. 7, should he leave for Paris riches.
Alvaro Morata Set for Brief Return
Los Blancos are ready to pay £23.6 million to bring Alvaro Morata back to the Spanish capital from Juventus but will soon sell him on for a profit, according to Fabrizio Romano and Marcus Christenson of the Guardian.

The same report named PSG, Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea as interested suitors, with Real set to demand £40 million for the 23-year-old centre-forward should they re-sign him.
Romano and Christenson also stated the chance to work with a former Los Merengues manager could sway Morata's future: "Morata, who has been with Juventus for the past two seasons, would favour a move to United, especially if Jose Mourinho takes over at Old Trafford."
It's an interesting business plan from Los Blancos. Obviously, the idea of making a quick profit from a player unlikely to start next season will be appealing.
But perhaps Morata should be given another chance to prove himself in Madrid. After all, he's a powerful and skilled attacker with traditional target-man qualities, notably aerial prowess and hold-up play.
Morata has used those talents to thrive during his time with Juve. He's scored 11 times and provided eight assists this season, per WhoScored.com.
Karim Benzema is the current No. 9 of choice, but Morata has the potential to replace the Frenchman. Keeping the latter around would strengthen a core of intriguing young players breaking into the first-team ranks, including winger Lucas Vazquez and forward Jese Rodriguez.
Keeping Morata along with signing Hazard would help soften the blow if Ronaldo leaves. But they wouldn't be the only changes Los Blancos would need to make to the forward line.
