Real Madrid Transfer News: James Rodriguez Sale Forbidden, Fresh Blancos Rumours
Real Madrid will reportedly not listen to any offers for James Rodriguez during the summer transfer window and are insistent the Colombian is "not for sale."
Per Manu Sainz in AS, Real president Florentino Perez sees him as a key player for the team's future and is "confident that [he] can rekindle his form of old" after a lacklustre 2015-16 campaign.
As such, he will not listen to offers for the 24-year-old playmaker despite widespread rumours linking James with a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu, added Sainz.

Indeed, Sky Sports Spanish football expert Guillem Balague previously said Real would be "more than happy to sell him...if they get the right amount of money."
And El Confidencial (via Sport Witness) suggested "the right amount" would be somewhere around the €80 million (£63 million) Real paid to sign James from AS Monaco in 2014:
Manchester United have been heavily linked with the attacking midfielder, and Bleacher Report's Dean Jones previously insisted he would be a good fit at Old Trafford:
Sainz's report added that Los Blancos manager Zinedine Zidane is also "in favour of the player continuing" despite the Red Devils, Manchester City and Arsenal all reportedly being prepared to "table the same or similar figures to what Madrid laid out" for James.
It is undeniable that the 24-year-old has failed to perform to his best in the 2015-16 campaign.
In his debut season with Real—after winning the Golden Boot at the 2014 FIFA World Cup—he was a key part of Carlo Ancelotti's side, starting 29 Primera Division matches, scoring 13 goals and providing 13 assists, per WhoScored.com.
Under Rafael Benitez and Zidane this season, he has made only 17 starts in La Liga—appearing eight times from the bench—and recorded seven goals and eight assists, per WhoScored.
However, he has not become a bad player all of a sudden and still has the quality to return to the form he showed last season, and his contract at the Bernabeu runs until 2020.
When on song, James can be one of the most devastating attackers in the world, and Real are clearly set to keep faith with him rather than sell him on after one poor campaign.
