For one transplanted New York Mets fan, Bartolo Colon's May 7 home run against the San Diego Padres qualified as such.
Prior to the season's start, Matt Sassi acknowledged the virtual impossibility of the 42-year-old Colon becoming the most senior MLB pitcher to hit his first home run via a wager—he would get a tattoo in tribute should the moment ever happen.

The improbable play actually occurred when Sassi and his friend (and witness) Anthony Triola were present for the homer.
So naturally, he was left with no other choice but to stay true to his word and commemorate the play with an inked portrait of No. 40 on his arm.
The only disappointing discrepancy in an otherwise flawlessly full-circle story is that the words "Big Sexy" were not somehow involved.
