IPL Results 2016: Latest Scores, Points Table After Royal Challengers vs Indians
Mumbai Indians shocked Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore on Wednesday, winning by six wickets as RCB's world-class batsmen failed on their home wicket.
The Royal Challengers posted a score of 151 for four, as Kohli and Chris Gayle both gave poor displays against a buoyant Mumbai bowling attack.
Jos Buttler got Mumbai over the finish line with an intelligent display of middle-order hitting, as the Indians chased down the home team's score with eight balls to spare.
Here are the latest IPL standings, according to Sky Sports Cricket:
Royal Challengers Bangalore vs. Mumbai Indians
Mumbai Indians, 153/4 (Rayudu 44, Aaron two for 37), beat Royal Challengers, 151/4 (Rahul 68, Pandya one for 15), by six wickets.
The return of Gayle failed to give RCB the firepower they wanted, as the West Indian legend looked out of form on Wednesday.
Kohli also suffered a rare failure with the bat, and he was caught on seven, playing at a shot outside off-stump that gave a catch to Harbhajan Singh.

Kohli had won the toss and opted to bat with his power hitters in the side, but he soon appeared concerned.
Gayle soon followed the skipper, surviving only six balls and contributing five runs in a paltry display from the one-day specialist. Tim Southee claimed Gayle's wicket as Rohit Sharma took the vital catch.
Retired cricketer Aakash Chopra questioned whether Gayle's career in India was now over:

AB de Villiers steadied the ship with 24 runs from 27 balls, but the South African could only find two boundaries before walking back to the pavilion.
Lokesh Rahul took on the challenge of rescuing the hosts, and he dragged the Royal Challengers back into the game.
The batsman went on the attack and smashed 68 off only 53 deliveries. Rahul remained at the crease at the end of RCB's 20 overs, and Sachin Baby's stand of 25 runs at the end of the innings gave the home fans reasons to cheer.
Cricket writer Ayaz Memon saw a way back into the game for RCB as they chipped away at the score:
Shane Watson also offered a quick-fire 15 runs from 14 balls as the Indians' Kieron Pollard proved expensive at the end.
The IPL provided an image from the game and statistical information:
Mumbai were quickly under pressure in their reply from Sreenath Aravind, who removed Parthiv Patel for two runs.
However, the Indians dug in as Sharma hit 25 from 24 balls. His time at the crease came to an end as De Villiers caught him in the deep from the bowling of Varun Aaron.
A stunning catch from Stuart Binny saw the crowd explode into life, taking a spectacular effort on the boundary as Nitish Rana went for nine.
The majestic catch was one of the best of the competition, as Binny launched himself into the air. The IPL provided video footage of the amazing catch:
Mumbai needed 62 from 35 as the contest rushed to a conclusion, and the run rate was becoming an issue for the visitors as the boundaries dried up.
Another world-class catch from De Villiers, to remove Ambati Rayudu, left Mumbai in further trouble.
However, the arrival of England batsman Buttler quickened Mumbai's charge. Pollard (35) and Buttler (29) began to find boundaries at the crucial point of the innings.
Mumbai needed 24 runs from 16 balls to win the match, and it was left to Buttler who found four boundaries to earn his side a surprise six-wicket victory.
