IPL 2016: Stats on Top Run-Scorers, Leading Wicket-Takers, T20 Averages, More
Rising Pune Supergiants' Adam Zampa recorded the second-best IPL figures ever against Sunrisers Hyderabad but could not prevent his side from falling to a four-run defeat on Tuesday in Visakhapatnam.
In only his second appearance of this year's tournament, the Australian spinner took six wickets for 19 runs to post the best figures of 2016, per ESPN Cricinfo:
Hyderabad were restricted to just 137 for eight, Shikhar Dhawan top-scoring with 33, but RPS' miserable season continued when they fell a boundary short of triumph after excellent bowling from Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ashish Nehra, Barinder Sran and Moises Henriques.

Sunrisers' victory saw them back to the top of the IPL standings, and they are looking good to go all the way this year.
They have now won four games on the bounce, and this time skipper David Warner made little contribution with the bat. The tournament's second-highest run-scorer was dismissed for just 11 by RP Singh, and it looked as though it could be a pivotal moment in the match.
None of the other SRH batsmen were able to find any real rhythm, and Zampa, Ravi Ashwin and Ashok Dinda restricted them very effectively.
But even without a very big score, Hyderabad were able to successfully defend, proving they are strong in all departments, per cricket commentator Ayaz Memon:
Kumar's figures of one wicket for 20 runs took him back to the top of the wicket-taking rankings, and he now has 14 dismissals in the tournament.
Meanwhile, Asish Nehra produced a brilliant display of death-bowling to dismiss Thisara Perera and Zampa in the last over, while MS Dhoni also fell to a run out as he looked to power his side to victory—they needed 12 from the last two balls.
Mustafizur Rahman also played his part despite not getting any wickets on this occasion, bowling a very tight penultimate over to leave RPS needing 14 from the last.
The Sunrisers simply look like the best side in the tournament, thanks in no small part to their fantastic bowling lineup, per former Indian opener Aakash Chopra:
Meanwhile, despite plenty of confidence ahead of the campaign, new franchise RPS now have no chance of getting to the knockout stages of the 2016 IPL.
They have suffered injuries galore but have also been tactically outwitted on too many occasions and could not backup Zampa's heroics with a good enough batting performance on Tuesday.
