Arsenal Transfer News: Latest on Riyad Mahrez, N'Golo Kante Double-Raid Rumours
Riyad Mahrez has pledged his future to Premier League champions Leicester City, despite reports Arsenal could snap up the Algerian and team-mate N'Golo Kante in a sensational deal.
According to France Football (h/t Get French Football News), the Gunners have been in contact with the Foxes over a possible deal for two of their biggest stars:

Mahrez is said to be in demand by a whole host of top Premier League and European clubs, though Leicester have not yet had their resolve tested:
"Leicester City have however yet to receive a single formal offer for Riyad Mahrez from any club for a transfer this summer. (FF)

According to Dave Armitage of the Daily Star, Paris Saint-Germain have also been monitoring the winger, but when asked "categorically" if he would be staying at the King Power Stadium this summer, he replied: "Yeah, yeah. I am very happy and very proud to have this trophy. Some things are just amazing."
Indeed, after winning the Professional Footballers' Association Player of the Year award, it's unsurprising that the 25-year-old is in demand.
Equally, after defying 5,000-1 odds to complete Leicester's incredible fairytale title win and guaranteeing UEFA Champions League football for the Foxes next season, that Mahrez might reject the chance to join one of Europe's top institutions isn't too surprising either.
Per former Leicester striker Gary Lineker, Mahrez was well-deserving of his individual award:
The Algerian has scored 17 goals in the Premier League this season and assisted a further 11. His tricky dribbling and ability to pick out his team-mates are both exceptional, and Squawka reported he has completed a staggering 129 take-ons this year and created 64 chances.
Kante has been similarly vital to Leicester's success thanks to his astounding work rate and ball-winning skills in midfield, per Soccer AM:
Bleacher Report UK also neatly summed up the Frenchman's style of play, as did the scout who identified him for Leicester, Steve Walsh, per the Leicester Mercury's Rob Tanner:
After such a campaign, Kante could walk—or, more appropriately, run—into Arsenal's midfield, and he could have a transformative effect on the side thanks to the resilience and work ethic he would bring.
Leicester fans will be desperate for him to give similar assurances to Mahrez, but until he does, the Gunners—and the rest of his suitors—should go all out to sign him.
