Lions vs. Daredevils
Delhi, 150-2 (Pant 69, Nadeem 2-23), beat Gujarat, 149-7 (Karthik 53, Kaushik 1-29), by 8 wickets (with 16 balls remaining).
Daredevils won the toss and opted to bowl on a Rajkot pitch that appeared to favour the bowlers. The visitors took aim at Gujarat's prolific openers early, and Zaheer Khan bowled Brendon McCullum (one from four) after just 2.5 overs.
Dwayne Smith (15 from 14) fared a little better but was caught in the next over, as Delhi's aggressive approach paid off early.
Per ESPNcricinfo's Bharath Seervi, the visitors did plenty of damage throughout the powerplay:
Aaron Finch (five from five) and Suresh Raina (24 from 20) failed to stem the tide, as the top of Lions' order all but imploded, and after 10 overs, Gujarat were on pace to score around just 120 runs.

But Dinesh Karthik (53 from 43) and Ravindra Jadeja (unbeaten 36) provided the late boost the hosts sorely needed, pushing the run rate up to 7.45 and finishing with a respectable total of 149. While teams have easily chased far greater scores than that throughout this IPL campaign, the tricky Rajkot pitch gave Gujarat a chance.
Shahbaz Nadeem led Delhi's bowlers with figures of two for 23, and every member of the group finished with an economy rate in the single digits.
Quinton de Kock (46 from 45) and Pant started the chase by scoring 24 runs in the first two overs, setting a solid pace that lasted through the powerplay.
Per cricket writer Ayaz Memon, Gujarat had no answers for anything Delhi threw at them on Tuesday:
After 10 overs, Delhi still hadn't lost a wicket and were sporting a run rate of 9.30. Pant was finally caught in the 14th over, at which point Delhi had scored 115 and were well within range of the target.

Sanju Samson (19 from 13) and JP Duminy (13 from seven) were tasked with completing the chase, and they wasted little time, scoring nine runs in the 16th over and 12 in the 17th. Samson completed the chase with a six in the 18th.
Shivil Kaushik finished with figures of one for 29, best among Gujarat bowlers. Raina didn't hide his disappointment after the match, per ESPNcricinfo: "It's disappointing. We didn't bat well in the first six overs, which I thought cost us the game."
Delhi didn't start the IPL season well, but they've made huge strides throughout the campaign and are hitting their best form at just the right time. A play-off ticket seems likely for Daredevils.
Gujarat still lead the standings, and the IPL newcomers won't worry too much about one poor loss, given how well they've played this season.
