Villarreal vs. Liverpool: Adam Lallana Reveals Jurgen Klopp's Dressing Room Talk
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is targeting a "magical night" at Anfield for the second leg of their UEFA Europa League semi-final with Villarreal, according to Adam Lallana.
The Reds will need to overturn a 1-0 defeat after Adrian Lopez grabbed an injury-time winner at the Estadio El Madrigal on Thursday, but Klopp is confident it can be done with the backing of the home fans.
Per the Liverpool Echo's James Pearce, Lallana said:

"The manager told us: 'do not worry.' He said: 'be disappointed for five minutes but no longer—wait until we get them back home.'
He told us that we have got the fans and then he said: 'we will make it another magical night next week.'
It would have been easy to get deflated. It's only natural that we are disappointed after conceding in injury time. But we are over it. The manager told us we have to be.
"
BT Sport pundit Michael Owen felt the same way:
Liverpool have already enjoyed such a night this season when they mounted an incredible comeback to beat Klopp's former side, Borussia Dortmund, in the previous round earlier in April, with the team spurred on by an electric atmosphere at Anfield.
Per BT Sport Football, Klopp appeared confident the result could be overturned in his post-match interview on Thursday:
He reiterated as much in his press conference:
Indeed, aside from the goal, Villarreal created few chances, and though Liverpool failed to impress going forward—Daniel Sturridge was inexplicably left on the bench for the entire match—they should still have enough firepower to net against the Liga side at home, particularly if the England international is brought back into the team.
Match of the Day's Gary Lineker believes the Reds still have a good chance of progressing to the final despite the setback, though Bleacher Report UK's Jack Lusby is less confident:
Should Villarreal score, Liverpool will require at least three goals to do so. BT Sport's Steve McManaman expects little from the Yellow Submarine, though:
By far the Spanish side's most potent goal threat is Cedric Bakambu—he has 22 goals this season in all competitions—and silencing him will go a long way to preventing them getting on the scoresheet.
Liverpool will still need to be wary of the kind of sucker punch they were hit with in the first leg, but a good performance on Thursday should be enough to see them progress.
