Laremy Tunsil Talks Bong-Smoking Video, Taking Money from Ole Miss Staff
Ole Miss Rebels offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil learned the hard way that timing is everything after a video posted to his Twitter account showed him smoking out of a bong. Widely considered one of the top overall players in the 2016 NFL draft, Tunsil instead slipped to the Miami Dolphins at No. 13 on Thursday.
"Somebody hacked my Twitter account," he said on NFL Network, per Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle. "It was a mistake. It happened years ago."
WFAA's Mike Leslie posted a screenshot of the offending tweet:

Dolphins general manager Chris Grier said the video is likely two years old, per Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun Sentinel.
Grier then discussed the decision-making process behind selecting Tunsil, per Kelly:
Shortly after the Twitter hack, two posts on Tunsil's Instagram account purported to show a text exchange between him and Ole Miss assistant athletic director John Miller. In the exchange, captured by Busted Coverage, Tunsil asks for money to help his mom cover home expenses:
"I'd have to say yeah," Tunsil said when questioned whether he accepted cash from a Rebels coach, per Hugh Kellenberger of the Clarion-Ledger.
The MMQB's Emily Kaplan shared a brief comment from Tunsil about the social media hacks:
Draft night should've been one of the best in Tunsil's football career, but he's having to put out multiple fires rather than basking in the glory of being a first-rounder.
The Rebels offensive tackle entered the draft with plenty of question marks as is. He suffered multiple injuries in college, and the NCAA suspended him for seven games in 2015. Thursday night only added more ammunition for his most vocal critics.
There's no question, though, if Tunsil can avoid any off-field issues and fulfill his potential on it, then he'll be one of the biggest first-round steals this year.
