The Charlotte Hornets took a 3-2 series lead against the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference playoffs after a 90-88 win Wednesday night.

After a Courtney Lee go-ahead three-pointer with 25 seconds left in the game, Charlotte sealed the win when Lee blocked Heat guard Dwyane Wade's layup attempt with four seconds to go.

With Miami's offense scrambling to get a good look off, guard Goran Dragic attempted a three-pointer from the left corner, which Kemba Walker blocked.

The ball shot straight up and was taken down by Wade, who turned and went up for the layup:

It was a tough ending to a night in which Wade led all scorers with 25 points as he appeared to take some contact during the play. He wasn't too happy with the officiating, per Jason Lieser of the Palm Beach Post:

Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra was quick to back up Wade, per Tom Haberstroh of ESPN:

Wade indicated he was going to be angry with the result, per Ethan J. Skolnick of the Miami Herald:

With Miami's back against the wall, Wade will have to regroup for Game 6 to ensure the Heat can fight another day. The teams next tip off in Charlotte on Friday night.
