NY Rangers' Dan Boyle Has No Time for 'Clown' Sports Reporters
There's nothing like a season-ending playoff loss to put a guy in a bad mood.
It took the Pittsburgh Penguins just five games to dispatch the New York Rangers in their first-round NHL playoff matchup, the final blow coming in a 6-3 loss on Saturday.
Rangers defenseman and soon-to-be unrestricted free agent Dan Boyle met with media members on Tuesday, and it did not go smoothly.

Off the bat, the 39-year-old demanded Larry Brooks of the New York Post leave the room and later called for another "clown" to depart (Brooks' colleague, Brett Cyrgalis, apparently, who wasn't actually there).
Boyle told Brooks, "Nobody likes you. Nobody respects you. Just so you know," per Greg Wyshynski of Puck Daddy.
Apparently he wasn't a fan of some things Brooks had written. Boyle went on to say:
"At least I'm leaving here with the respect of my teammates. Instead of [expletive] somebody like you, who tries to bury somebody. That's all you do. It's not a critique. I'm telling you I don't want you here. I have no respect for you. I want you to get the [expletive] out.
"
The scene ended with Brooks telling Boyle to "grow up," followed by Brooks walking away.
Given his age and contract situation, it might have been the last interview Boyle ever does as an NHL player. Not the best.
