Recap
Aguero scored City’s second goal from the penalty spot in the routine win over Stoke, with Fernando also finding the net and talented youngster Kelechi Iheanacho adding a brace.
According to OptaJoe, the Argentina international has been on quite the run:
Ladbrokes added this stat, noting his tally still wasn’t good enough for a spot in the PFA Team of the Year:
The 27-year-old and Kevin De Bruyne have both missed stretches of the season with injuries, and it likely doomed City’s title chances, as the team has looked vastly superior since the two returned.
Against Stoke, the Citizens were barely ever troubled, winning the fourth of their last five contests. The result takes them up to third place in the standings, but Arsenal and Manchester United still hold a match in hand.

So do Tottenham Hotspur and Kane, who will take on West Bromwich Albion on Monday. The England international has also been in fine form, and he’ll be gunning for the title of top scorer as well.
Kane won’t have the added strain of UEFA Champions League football to worry about, whereas City will take on Spanish giants Real Madrid in midweek.
Iheanacho also impressed, and manager Manuel Pellegrini was happy to see the youngster make the most of his opportunity on Saturday, per the club’s official Twitter account:
Elsewhere, Hazard’s remarkable goalless streak finally came to an end with a brace against Bournemouth, to the delight of Chelsea fans. Last year’s PFA Player of the Year hadn’t scored in 29 straight Premier League matches, and when he finally broke his duck after 34 minutes, it gave social media plenty of opportunities to have a laugh.
Onefootball kept it simple:
"We can confirm this is not a bug in the app. Eden Hazard has really scored a Premier League goal #BOUCHE pic.twitter.com/aiuTvuXF6A

Copa90 also got in on the fun:
He would add a second goal after half-time, playing a key role in Chelsea’s 4-1 win.
Jack Colback’s equaliser at Anfield after 66 minutes handed the Magpies an unexpected point against Liverpool, reducing the gap to Norwich City and Premier League safety to a single point. The Canaries, Magpies and Sunderland seem destined to battle it out until the final matchday, and Saturday’s unexpected result will be a major boost for Newcastle.
