Shenzhen International 2016: Friday Leaderboard Scores and Highlights
Soomin Lee topped the leaderboards at the Shenzhen International on Friday in a stop-start day of play that will need to be resumed on Saturday.
Lee carded an impressive 65 as he moved to 13 under with a three-shot lead over Joost Luiten, while Thursday's joint leader Alexander Levy was restricted to just three holes and remains on six under as play repeatedly had to be suspended due to stormy weather.

Lee coped well despite the breaks in play and was able to maintain his momentum for much of the round.
The Korean parred his first and birdied his second—the 11th—just before an almost four-hour break in play. He picked up right where he left off, though, picking up two more shots at the 12th and 13th.
Lee scored three successive birdies once more at the 17th, 18th and first before a second interruption, and on his return he parred the next seven holes and rounded out his day in style with another birdie at the par-five ninth hole.
The European Tour hailed his unblemished round:
Per the Tour's official website, Lee reflected on his excellent day at Genzon:
"Today I felt so excited because I made many putts, and then good shots and straight ball, everything was perfect. I feel this course is good for me because of the soft greens and then heavy rough. I like heavy rough so that's good for me. I have two more days to also try to be bogey free.
"
Lucas Bjerregaard, who finished on even par as he failed to improve on Thursday's four over, had praise for his fellow pro:
Luiten also enjoyed an outstanding round, finishing on six under for the day. The Dutchman kicked off his round well with an eagle from the fairway on the 11th, and he went one better than Lee by picking up shots in four successive holes from the 15th to the 18th, all sealed by excellent putts:
He carded another birdie at the second before a two-hour suspension of play. Upon his return to the course picked up his sixth of the day after an outstanding approach shot to the fourth hole left him with a relatively straightforward eight-foot putt.
Luiten afford Lee some breathing room with a somewhat disappointing finish to the round, though, as a poor tee shot on the fifth cost him a stroke, and he also bogeyed the eighth.
The pair will have to watch out for Lee Slattery on Saturday if the Englishman can maintain his momentum overnight—he was restricted to just five holes on Friday but picked up four shots.
Levy will also be a threat. He played just three holes but carded an blemished round on Thursday and a similar score would put him among the leaders once again.
