
Conor McGregor Retiring? His Rivals React on Twitter
Update 8:15 p.m. ET:
According to UFC President Dana White on SportsCenter (via the Houston Chronicle's Jeremy Botter), Conor McGregor has been pulled from UFC 200 due to his unwillingness to meet media obligations ahead of the fight. While White did not explicitly say it, this is most likely the root cause of McGregor's retirement discussion, rather than an actual desire to end his career. This post will be updated with more news, if necessary.

Conor McGregor suddenly tweeted that he had "decided to retire young" on Tuesday, and unsurprisingly, it whipped the combat sports world into a frenzy. While fans and pundits were wondering aloud whether it was true, foes from McGregor's past all opened up on his (possible) departure from MMA.
His most recent (and, it seemed, next) opponent, Nate Diaz, jokingly offered the following:
