NFL Power Rankings: Bleacher Addition (Week Three)
Week three of the NFL season is in the books, and here are the power rankings thus far.
Some interesting notes to consider:
- The Bengals and Jaguars made the biggest leap in the rankings, moving up six spots each.
- The Redskins and Texans were the biggest losers, each dropping seven spots.
- The Manning brothers hold the top two spots in the Power Rankings.
- The Steelers moved out of the top ten from the No. 1 spot with two consecutive losses to average teams.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
1. Giants (3-0): Last Week's Rank—1
The Giants murdered the Bucs on the road for the first shutout away from home since 1983. Looking good for the boys in blue.
2. Colts (3-0): Last Week's Rank—3
The Colts dominated the Cardinals with the passing attack as Manning threw for four scores. The Colts look great so far this year.
3. Ravens (3-0): Last Week's Rank—4
The Ravens were all over the Browns from start to finish. Joe Flacco is not just a game manager anymore as he got his second 300-yard game of the season.
4. Saints (3-0): Last Week's Rank—6
The Saints held on for three quarters, then put it on the Bills in the fourth to win by 20. Their defense was the best it has been all year.
5. Jets (3-0): Last Week's Rank—7
The Jets got yet another fantastic win against the Titans. Mark Sanchez is playing just well enough to lead his team to victory; they are rallying around the rookie.
6. Patriots (2-1): Last Week's Rank—9
The Pats got a great win against a very good Falcons team. The good part of the game was Fred Taylor jump starting the rushing attack.
7. Vikings (3-0): Last Week's Rank—8
The Vikings barely got by the 49ers, but it was a good win for the club who had played the Browns and Lions to start the season.
8. Falcons (2-1): Last Week's Rank—2
The Falcons were stopped by a Patriots team out to prove they are not slipping. Nothing was working for the Falcons in Foxboro.
9. Chargers (2-1): Last Week's Rank—11
The Chargers scored 20 points after halftime to put away the visiting Dolphins. Had Pennington not left with an injury, the game may have been different.
10. Eagles (2-1): Last Week's Rank—12
The Eagles were dominated by the Saints, but when they get McNabb back, they should be able to hold on to the ball longer and get the defense off the field.
11. Steelers (1-2): Last Week's Rank—5
The Steelers were upset by the Bengals in Cincinnati. They don't seem to be handling losing Troy Polamalu very well.
12. 49ers (2-1): Last Week's Rank—10
The 49ers were one brilliant play from being 3-0, but that is the difference between Super Bowl teams and those who can't get over the hump. It was still an impressive showing by the young team.
13. Cowboys (2-1): Last Week's Rank—14
Not a very tough game for the Cowboys, but they took care of business against the struggling Panthers.
14. Broncos (3-0): Last Week's Rank—17
The Broncos have played an easy schedule thus far, but the defense has been great. The win against the Bengals is looking much better, regardless of how they got it.
15. Bears (2-1): Last Week's Rank—16
The Bears came from behind and beat the Seahawks on the road. Maybe Jay Cutler just had some opening day jitters?
16. Bengals (2-1): Last Week's Rank—22
The Bengals came from behind to shock the Steelers, maybe Chad Ochocinco wasn't fooling around when he predicted 11 wins. If it weren't for fluke play in Week One, this team is 3-0.
17. Packers (2-1): Last Week's Rank—15
The Packers got a win on the road, but it was against the Rams. The offense looked good, but the defense still needs to work out the kinks.
18. Jaguars (1-2): Last Week's Rank—24
The Jaguars got a much needed win on the road against the Texans. If Maurice Jones-Drew can keep up that production, they will do well.
19. Cardinals (1-2): Last Week's Rank—19
The Cardinals were thwarted by Peyton Manning and the Colts. They are proving that the last month of last season was nothing more than inspired play.
20. Texans (1-2): Last Week's Rank—13
The Texans' defense is being exposed every week and they need to fix it if they want to compete with the Colts.
21. Bills (1-2): Last Week's Rank—21
The Bills played inspired defense for three quarters, but that wasn't enough against the tough Saints. It seems like Terrell Owens is ready to bring down the team.
22. Titans (0-3): Last Week's Rank—20
The Titans had every opportunity to win on Sunday only to give the game away with four turnovers. It's not looking good in Tennessee.
23. Seahawks (1-2): Last Week's Rank—23
A depleted Seahawks team could not hold off Jay Cutler and the Bears. They really have struggled with injuries the past two seasons.
24. Raiders (1-2): Last Week's Rank—26.
The Raiders were dominated in every aspect of the game against the Broncos. When will Al Davis give up control?
25. Redskins (1-2): Last Week's Rank—18
The Redskins lost to possibly the worst team in football and they also lost their 100 million dollar man in Albert Haynesworth.
26. Panthers (0-3): Last Week's Rank—25
Jake Delhomme is playing his worst football and with the game on the line, he threw a pick six. The Panthers have plenty issues.
27. Lions (1-2): Last Week's Rank—32
The Detroit Lions finally got the monkey off their back, but where do they go from here? It was anything but a convincing win.
28. Dolphins (0-3): Last Week's Rank—27
The Dolphins not only lost the game, they lost QB Chad Pennington for the season. Bad news in Miami.
29. Chiefs (0-3): Last Week's Rank—29
The Chiefs were outmatched by the Eagles. The Matt Cassel project seems to be falling by the wayside.
30. Bucs (0-3): Last Week's Rank—28
The Bucs were destroyed by the Giants and have now benched QB Byron Leftwich. That usually is not good news.
31. Rams (0-3): Last Week's Rank—31
The Rams showed minor signs of promise against the Packers, but Mark Bulger left the game with an injury.
32. Browns (0-3): Last Week's Rank—30
The Browns cannot establish any sort of identity and their defense is just awful.
