Liverpool Transfer News: Jordon Ibe Appears to Spark Reds Exit Rumours
Jordon Ibe has seemingly dropped a major hint that he could be on his way out of Liverpool this summer by appearing to remove any mention of the Anfield club from his various social media accounts.
Per Jamie Anderson in the Daily Star, following his omission from a much-changed Liverpool squad for Sunday's 4-1 victory over Stoke City—youngsters Kevin Stewart and Sheyi Ojo were given a run out—Ibe, 20, changed his Twitter and Instagram profiles and removed his affiliations with Liverpool.
Before the apparent changes, Ibe "happily proclaimed himself as a Liverpool player" on social media, per Football Insider's Coral Barry.

James Cambridge in the Express noted that Ibe's lack of recent game time—his last start came in early February in the FA Cup per WhoScored.com—seems to have "hit a raw nerve with the winger."
Manager Jurgen Klopp made seven changes to his side for the Stoke match in preparation for Thursday's Europa League clash with Borussia Dortmund, and Ibe would likely have expected to be given an opportunity in such circumstances.
But he was not even in the matchday squad, a damning indictment of the form he is in, per the Daily Mail's Dominic King:
It was not as though Liverpool missed the Englishman either. Klopp's side looked impressive in dismantling the Potters at Anfield, 20-year-old striker Divock Origi proving with a double that he could become the Reds' No. 1 striker, per Bleacher Report's Dean Jones:
Andy Hunter in the Guardian previously reported that Watford are considering making a summer move for Ibe—as well as Liverpool teammate Joe Allen.
Based on his recent lack of involvement with Liverpool—and his apparent social media actions—it seems unlikely that Ibe will be resolved to stay at Anfield and fight for a first-team spot.
A move to Watford—a slightly less high-profile club than Liverpool—may be just what the youngster needs as he would likely be given more opportunities to flourish with the Hornets.
Ibe is a talented player capable of operating down either flank, but his confidence seems to be very low at the moment and the competition for places is only likely to get more intense at Liverpool over the summer.
Bayern Munich attacker Mario Gotze is reportedly being targeted by Liverpool and the arrival of a player of his stature would further limit Ibe's opportunities, per German outlet SportBild (via Joe Rimmer in the Liverpool Echo).
Ibe's future on Merseyside is looking bleak and it may not be long before he makes his move away from the Reds to attempt to advance his stalling career elsewhere.
