Chelsea Transfer News: Latest on Gianluigi Donnarumma, Thibaut Courtois Rumours
Chelsea are reportedly eyeing a move for AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma this summer should they lose current No. 1 Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid.
According to Italy's Corriere dello Sport (via Metro's Simon Osborn), the Blues are prepared to let Courtois go to Real if Los Blancos "match their asking price," and they have reportedly already "been in touch with Milan" over potentially snapping up 17-year-old Donnarumma.
The report added that Italy boss Antonio Conte, who is set to take over as manager at Chelsea in the summer, is "a known fan" of Donnarumma.

Courtois, 23, has spent only the last two seasons as Chelsea's No. 1, but he is well-established as one of the world's top goalkeepers.
With the Blues set to be without European competition next season, he could well be tempted by a move to Real if they bid for him.
Indeed, rumours of Courtois being unsettled at Stamford Bridge have been on the rise recently, leading to Chelsea being linked with Southampton's Fraser Forster, per Bleacher Report's Dean Jones:
However, Donnarumma could be another exciting alternative.
Despite his remarkable youth, he has claimed the No. 1 spot at Milan this season under manager Sinisa Mihajlovic, starting each of the Rossoneri's last 23 Serie A matches, per WhoScored.com.
He has proved an excellent shot-stopper and an intelligent footballer, although his inexperience does still show on occasion, to no great surprise.
It would be a massive risk for Chelsea to sign Donnarumma as a direct replacement for Courtois, as there are major doubts as to whether he is ready for Premier League football.
While he has shown that he is a great prospect this season, he is far too young to be considered a genuine No. 1 for a club like Chelsea, who have designs on winning the league and returning to the Champions League.
Signing Forster and Donnarumma in the event that Courtois leaves would be a sensible idea, as the Englishman could take the No. 1 role while the youngster hones his craft.
However, any plan that involves Italian Donnarumma coming in as a direct replacement for Courtois would be a foolish one.
