EPL Table: 2016 Week 32 Top Scorers After Sunday's Premier League Scores
Neither Jamie Vardy nor Riyad Mahrez managed to find the net and chase down Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane at the top of the Premier League scoring charts on Sunday. But that didn't stop Leicester City from increasing their lead at the top of the table to seven points after beating Southampton 1-0 at the King Power Stadium.
Later, Everton's Romelu Lukaku missed the chance to leapfrog Vardy and close the gap on Kane. The Toffees' frontman drew a blank in a 1-0 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Here are the results from Sunday's fixtures:

Kane Still Top After Vardy Draws a Blank
Leicester needed skipper and centre-back Wes Morgan to head home and see off Southampton. But Vardy in particular was left to rue the fine form of Saints goalkeeper Fraser Forster.
The England stopper denied Vardy when he was sent clean through in the second half by a sly pass from winger Marc Albrighton. Vardy had courted controversy in the first half when he escaped punishment for a rash tackle on Southampton midfield man Steven Davis.

It was an aggressive, two-footed attempt to win the ball that had Matt Heath-Smith of the Sun suggesting the striker could even face a retrospective ban for the incident.
As for Mahrez, he seemed a little lethargic after recent international excursions with Algeria.
Lukaku Misses His Chance
Everton's attacking talisman was another prolific scorer who had a rare off day on Sunday. The quick and powerful Belgian didn't always receive the best service at Old Trafford, but his control also let him down more than once.

Too often Lukaku was guilty of running just too far beyond a pass or failing to reel the ball in when his back was to goal. It didn't help that Everton struggled to find the right way to create chances for their primary goal-getter.
The Toffees' best idea in the first half was to rely on the width provided by wingers Aaron Lennon and Gerard Deulofeu. But the crosses into the box were often mediocre at best.
What Lukaku really needs is passes between the lines to help set his pace free. But as Squawka Football showed, Everton had trouble finding those passes in the final third:
Instead, Lukaku spent most of the match isolated against both of United's centre-backs. The frustrating day means he remains four goals off top spot.
With Vardy in a rare barren spell and Lukaku failing to make up ground, the race to finish the season as top scorer now looks like Kane's to lose. As for the title race, Leicester are rapidly closing in on history.
