Reflection Or Over-Reaction. What Is Going on With The Cleveland
Week 1: Cleveland plays a good solid first half against the potential NFC rep for the super bowl. Saw some flashes of a solid, competitive football franchise and surprisingly, the defense is holding up against the best running back the NFL has to offer. The second half comes up and the defense falls apart. Part because the offense is unable to do anything, again, against one of the best defenses the NFC has to offer. As fans, we react... A glimmer of hope. A 27 quarter TD-less streak comes to an end, the defense played pretty solid till they just wore down, and a game Cleveland wasn't supposed to win ended as a 13 pt loss. Fans are somewhat happy. There was a little bit of positives that we can use because the god awful Denver Broncos were coming up in week 2.
Well, we all know the story from week 2. A complete inability to do anything offensively and the Defense wore down again in the second half... A 21 point loss.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Then came yesterday's poor excuse for a football game. Not many people expected Cleveland to win, including myself. But never did I imagine such a disastrous outcome. Joe Flacco resembled Joe Montana, connecting on strike after strike. Running the no-huddle the majority of the game.
Did the Cleveland Browns even show up to play? If you ask me, they went into Baltimore yesterday, with the complete mind set of losing. Mangini didn't have this team anywhere near ready to compete. It's like he sat his players down and told them, "There is always next year... This year is a wash."
In the past 10+ seasons now of Cleveland Browns football, this has to be the poorest play we have seen of yet. Mangini was supposed to bring discipline to another wise sloppy football team. The result, just as many penalties and turn-over’s as we have seen over the past regime. T
his Cleveland football team does not want to play for Mangini. And Randy Learner doesn't seem to care. Brian Daboll, maybe a rookie coordinator, but he couldn't call plays for my 7 year old's pee wee football team.
When sports analysts are laughing about your football team, you know there is big issues. Cleveland is progressively getting worse as the season moves forward. More mistakes, less team play, worse play calling, horrid coaching. This team resembles the Cleveland Browns of the last 6 games of last year, except 40% of our starters were injured last year. What is the excuse this year?
So Mr. Learner, Coach Mangini and all my Cleveland faithful (or faithless as it stands right now) I am going to propose a website to be built, called www.browns-ban.com My purpose, is to get enough signatures for a change, and I will not spend another penny on this football team until they start to compete as a professional football team. I am not saying they have to win, but until this team can at least go out an look like they belong on the field with the opposing team, I will not buy any Browns merchandise, I will not spend a dime on NFL Sunday ticket and I will not buy any tickets to see Cleveland play at any NFL stadium. (because I no longer live in Cleveland, I can't go to any home games)
I love the Cleveland Browns, and I will forever be a fan, but we need to send a message to the ownership and leadership of this organization, that 10+ years of no consistency, no competitiveness but filling the Learner's pocket books, will not be tolerated any longer. Over-reaction??? Maybe, but something has to give here.
