WWE WrestleMania 2016: Feuds Most Deserving of Midcard Spot
Although WWE's WrestleMania is so often about the main event flagship bouts, there is always plenty going on in the midcard at the biggest pay-per-view of the year.
It's the midcard that rounds WrestleMania off and turns it into a good show, with some of the best battles of the night often seen lower down the card.
This year's event is dominated by three matches—Shane McMahon vs. The Undertaker, Triple H vs. Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose vs. Brock Lesnar. But aside from that trio of bouts, here are the matches that are deserving of a place on the card just beneath that.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
AJ Styles vs. Chris Jericho
In delaying Chris Jericho's heel turn, WWE has left this rivalry feeling a bit flat.
If it had turned Jericho a bit earlier, this feud would have had time to develop and blossom into something special. Luckily, there are still a couple of weeks until Mania, which means this rivalry will improve as the show gets nearer.
Styles laying Jericho out on Raw this past week was somewhat overdue, but with Jericho now surely set to respond, the stakes will increase for what could be an incredible match.
Without any storyline depth, the two had some great matches when Styles first came to WWE. With Jericho working well as a heel at the moment, all this needs is Styles to open up a bit more on the microphone, and this will be well worth its place on the midcard.
Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte vs. Becky Lynch
Three of the most talented women to emerge from NXT will lock horns at WrestleMania with the WWE Divas Championship on the line—and it should be an absolute classic.
They're all technically great in the ring, and with Charlotte excelling as the villainous champion who seemingly can't be touched at the moment, things are poised perfectly for Mania.
WWE was right when it decided to put both Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch in the match, too. Banks was the obvious choice, of course, but Lynch has done little wrong lately and had a pretty intriguing feud with Charlotte earlier in the year before Banks came into the picture.
We'll see more shenanigans from Charlotte and her father, Ric Flair, as the bout approaches, and with the level of wrestling guaranteed to be good, this could be one of the best Divas matches we've seen at WrestleMania in years.
Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn
There could be a temptation from WWE to throw lots of talent into a multiman match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania, but surely it can't ignore the obvious grudge match that is being set up perfectly, can it?
Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have so much history, this match books itself. Whether WWE decides it wants to mention their history as a tag team on the independent circuit is yet to be seen, but if they go with Zayn as Owens' opponent, fans won't be disappointed.
Both have incredible chemistry with one another, and Zayn showed on Raw this past Monday he's more than coping with the transition to the main roster.
If it's given a sufficient amount of time by the company—which isn't usually a problem at WrestleMania—this could quite easily steal the show.
Owens vs. Zayn makes sense. Not just for WrestleMania, but potentially into the middle of the year and beyond.
