WWE Roadblock 2016: Date, Start Time, Matches, Live Stream and Predictions
Intriguing matches comprise WWE Roadblock, but the bulk of its allure comes from its potential to rearrange WrestleMania 32.
Should Dean Ambrose knock off Triple H at the WWE Network special and seize the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, the main event in place for WrestleMania must change. If The New Day can't hold on to its titles, the trio's direction will change ahead of The Show of Shows.
On March 12, beginning at 8 p.m. ET, fans will see a house show transformed into what feels like a WrestleMania alternative.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
The Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto will play host to three title matches and feature Brock Lesnar. What WWE fans have to be most captivated by is the idea that the in-place WrestleMania marquee bout of Roman Reigns vs. Triple H may become something else entirely after Roadblock. Anything from an Ambrose-Reigns matchup to a Fatal 4-Way for the belt is possible.
But as much as WWE is selling the idea of The Lunatic Fringe upending the biggest show of the year, that tease won't amount to anything. The safe bet is that Roadblock is a warm-up for WrestleMania, not a catalyst for its transformation.
Live Stream Info
The Roadblock event is exclusive to WWE Network. Unless one is in Toronto with tickets in hand, the streaming service is the only way to view it.
The WWE Network allows fans to stream Roadlock live via laptops, tablets, video game consoles and Amazon Fire TV. Check out WWE.com's help section for a full list of compatible devices.
Over 170 countries have access to the network, and that number continues to grow. Earlier this year, WWE launched it in both Germany and Japan. To check availability around the world, visit WWE.com.

The Beast Beats The Eater of Worlds
Each man's position heading into WrestleMania is a clear indication of what's to come for him at Roadblock.
Wyatt has no feud heading into the marquee event. Lesnar, meanwhile, has a No Holds Barred Street Fight with Ambrose on tap. It would make zero sense for WWE to then have Lesnar limp into the match for the sake of a guy who may end up getting crammed into the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
Make no mistake about it: This is a warm-up for The Beast Incarnate.
The only mystery will be how Lesnar achieves victory. With Wyatt having so much potential as a guy WWE can push into the main event in the future, count on him holding his own here. Getting dominated would be too damaging for a man already reeling from a long list of losses.
The New Day Keeps the Gold
The only developments in this feud have been the tag team champs' mocking The League of Nations in YouTube videos.
On WWE programming itself, the two squads have barely even crossed paths. As Kevin Berge of Questionable Critics pointed out, there has been a glaring lack of build:
That indicates that there won't be a title change. If WWE had thoughts of crowning Sheamus and Company, it would have offered more foreshadowing and played up the two faction's issues. As it stands, it just feels like some midcare fare to round out the card.
Perhaps this bout will ignite the rivalry, but it's too cold right now to predict anything other than The New Day retaining.
The Revival Retains
In a surprising move, NXT is getting a portion of the stage here. There's a great chance WWE went this route to help introduce Amore and Cassady to a wider audience. Speculation about the two babyfaces moving to the main roster has been growing of late.
A standout performance here in which they get cheated out of the titles would be a smart lead-in for their Raw debut.
Winning the belts would it only make it more likely that they stick around at NXT. The Revival feels like the team that will be at the developmental brand for the long run. Amore and Cassady, meanwhile, will ride into Raw to give it an injection of energy in no time at all.
The Game Still On Collision Course with Reigns
WrestleMania will remain as it is. Ambrose's run as the champ's chief antagonist has been a fun ride, but it's coming to an end.
WWE has made it absolutely clear that it is intent on crowning Reigns. The company has focused on him and his quest for the title for over a year now. He's the one poised for the main event at WrestleMania; Ambrose is still the sidekick.
Kenny Herzog of Rolling Stone, for one, doesn't believe that WWE will stray from its plans: "I'll be among the many surprised if there's any kind of swerve on Saturday and Dean Ambrose conquers Triple H."
Instead, Ambrose will need Reigns' help. The Big Dog will play the cavalry, resuming his feud with The Game. Ambrose will slide back down the card, where he will face Lesnar.
These are the narratives already in place. They will both get back on track after the diversion that is Roadblock.
