The Sunday Morning BCS Report: Week Four
The big news is that Iowa went into a soggy Happy Valley and upset Penn State.
Oh yeah, and Tim Tebow got hurt.
Like everything associated with Tebow, the hits were both larger than life. A chin cruncher from the front and an epic knee collision on the way down. Head injuries are very scary in a violent game like football.
John Brantley is now a very important player in the BCS Title hunt.
So is his coach, Urban Meyer.
With playmakers like Jeffery Demps and Major Wright, Meyer should be able to wade through any rough waters that may lie ahead.
I'm betting on Tebow being fine.
The other big news were the lopsided losses for Cal and Miami. Miami might be a year early so a loss to Virginia Tech on the road isn't a season killer. The Cal loss in Oregon is tough to explain from this veteran squad. Both Miami and Cal have big games next week but that does not explain the eggs that both laid.
Alabama looked real tough in their SEC opener as did Ohio State. Boise State won big on two fronts:
1. They beat up on Bowling Green
2. Ole Miss, Penn State and Cal all lost ahead of them in the poll so they will be moving up.
3. If they get to No. 2 in the BCS they get to play for the title.
4. That would make them the ultimate BCS buster.
Looks like it is list time.

Week 5 Preview
The BCS will give us two regular season playoff games next week. The losers of the Oklahoma/Miami and USC/Cal games are out of the national title hunt. LSU and Georgia is the best game on paper in the SEC. Kenny Mayne would always say that they don't play the games on paper, they play them inside of TV's.
