Neymar Talks Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Pele, Real Madrid and More
Barcelona star Neymar has said he would rather have team-mate Lionel Messi's left foot than Cristiano Ronaldo's right.
In a light-hearted interview with UOL's Mauro Beting (h/t M. Carmen Torres of Marca), he was asked to choose between a variety of things. Between Messi's left foot and Ronaldo's right, he joked: "I'd take Messi's left foot, with all due respect to Cristiano, because my right foot is pretty handy too."
Indeed, Neymar's quick feet have seen him record more successful dribbles per game than any other player in Europe's top-five leagues this season, per OptaJean:

The Brazilian choosing Messi isn't at all surprising, as the two are close friends on and off the pitch:
According to Torres, when asked to decide between defeating La Liga rivals Real Madrid and the Premier League's Manchester City, he responded without hesitation: "I prefer beating Real Madrid to beating Manchester City!"
The 24-year-old scored and registered an assist when Barca beat Los Blancos 4-0 at the Bernabeu in November. He has also faced Manchester City four times in the UEFA Champions League.

As Barcelona's biggest rivals, it's understandable Real will be the team Neymar relishes beating the most.
His comments won't make pleasant reading for Los Blancos president Florentino Perez, though, as he reportedly harbours ambitions of luring Neymar to the Bernabeu, according to Lluis Mascaro of Sport English.
Given the choice between Messi and Brazil legend Pele, Neymar admitted it was a difficult choice. Per Torres, he said:
"Unfortunately I never saw Pele play. What I know of him is through my grandfather, my dad's dad, who used to talk to me and tell me about how he played. It's a difficult question for me, because I've seen Messi play and have had the chance to play alongside him. They're both geniuses, though.
"
According to Beting (h/t AS' David F. Sanchidrian), between the Copa Libertadores—the South American equivalent of the Champions League, which Neymar won with Santos back in 2011—and the European tournament itself, Neymar chose the latter:
"The Libertadores is sensational but the Champions League. … The first time I heard the anthem was a really special feeling. It’s like being in a video game; it’s living the dream of every child. That’s why I’m picking the Champions League."
The forward did choose the beaches in Santos over those in Barca, though: "Santos beaches, without a doubt. Playing five-a-side with my mates."
Pele is widely considered one of, if not the greatest footballer of all time, and despite only being 28 years old Messi has already placed himself firmly in that conversation after winning countless trophies, a record five Ballon d'Ors and scoring almost 500 career goals for club and country.
